Ashen has been in the magic academy for over two years now, yet, his magic skills remain as bad as when he first got there. He is ranked as one of the lowest magic users in the whole academy. He is constantly bullied because of this even his mates and some of his juniors boss him around.


Tired of this miserable life, he saved enough to buy himself a new and popular magical wand rumoured to improve one's magic. 


At the market, a sudden turn of events stirs him towards a different path, one that Ashen isn't convinced is completely safe and free from danger when he unexpectedly becomes the sole owner of the only dragon egg in existence.

A Gift of Fire

At first, all Ashen did was stand there in a daze, completely astounded at the words he just heard Headmaster Hiroara say to him, which he still found hard to believe.

"you're lying…" Ashen said doing his best to still keep the confident attitude he struggled to show but that was until he saw tears begin to roll down Headmaster Alessia's eyes, as she struggled to hold them back.

At that point, even Ashen could no longer lie to himself, feeling his ass hit the ground, before he even realized that he had fallen to the ground.

"Please…" Ashen sighed visibly struggling to breathe as he also did his best to hold his tears in, looking at the ground as he sat on the ground with a slumped posture.

"Please…tell me…tell me," he said pausing for a while before he found the strength to continue,
