I just finished my 3 hours of practice and I was now walking in the corridors of our mansion heading out to Elrick's office since a maidservant told me Elrick was there.

As for why I was finding Elrick, it was because I wanted him to teach me mage craft since I heard from Donn that he's a first-class mage.

While I was walking through the corridors I arrived at Elrick's office.

I knocked on The door letting him know someone wanted to come in.

"It's open." He replied.

I opened the door and came inside, and saw him at his table reading some documents with his glasses all alone.

He looked at me, "Ah! Laiya what made you come here?" he asked.

I looked at the document and asked "Are you busy?"

He looked at me and at the documents before putting them away swiftly.

"Ah No no~ what is it~?" He asked softly while locking his hands together and positioning them under his chin with a soft smile.

"Is that so, well I was hoping if I can have magic lessons since I heard from Donn you're a first-class mage." I said looking at the books inside his office.

"That's great! I thought you'll never ask" His eyes or glasses shined and he instantly got up from his chair and close the distance between us at a breakneck speed and vigorously patted my shoulder with his hand.

"I was thinking of teaching you mage craft for a while now, but I thought you were only interested in swordplay it's good to hear you're also interested in mage craft!" He said laughing loudly.

"I'll make sure to teach you to the best of my ability." He said excitedly.

I nodded as a reply.

"Ah! But we can't do it in here let's go outside." he said and stopped touching my shoulder.

"Alright," I replied and followed him outside.

We walked through the corridors and finally arrived outside.

"First of all Laiya hold this." He said and took out a transparent and colorless crystal shard from his pocket then handed it to me.

I grabbed it and examined it "what's this?" I asked in curiosity while still examining the crystal shard.

He pointed his Index finger up and explained "that is a mana crystal with drained mana, but it's also used to determine one's magic affinity."

"Hmm" well I don't exactly need it since I can determine magic attributes with appraisal, "so how do I use it?" I asked

"It's pretty simple just try channeling your mana into it, just focus try to imagine as if that mana crystal is a part of your hand and your blood is flowing into it that should be the simplest way to do it I think."

"Alright." I said then took a deep breath and focused trying to channel my mana into the shard.

( Imagine... imagine blood flowing into my hand felling it with blood... ) I thought to myself giving my best to channel my mana into the mana crystal.

Suddenly salmon-colored energy passed through my hand and came out of my fingers before going into the mana crystal.

Then the mana crystal flashed in a blinding bright yellow light, I immediately stopped since it was too bright.

"How was it?" I asked Elrick but he didn't answer.

Once the crystal stopped glowing I saw a depressed Elrick on all fours on the ground.

"N-no way..." He murmured.

Eh is my magic attribute that powerful that it made him that shocked...

"Th-thats right! There is still a chance I have 4 elemental attributes I'm sure he has other attributes." he convinced himself.
