CHAPTER 35
"••• ••••••...!! ••••••••...!"
A sound echoed in my ears but I couldn't hear it clearly.
"Laiya...? ...." I can hear it more clearer now who is it?
In curiosity, I opened my eyes my head was hazy so I couldn't see the figure before me clearly.
"..... Laiya are you okay?" Suddenly I was surprised beyond belief the figure that suddenly became clear to me was my mother with a delighted expression and touching my cheek.
A series of nostalgia, surprise, and happiness ran through my mind as the image of my mother waiting for me to wake up that I'd long not seen was now in front of me.
"Mom...?" I said overjoyed as a tear of happiness slid down my cheek.
"Eh N-no... I-I'm not Miss Grace..." It's as if an anvil fell right on top of my head waking me up and washing off all of my drowsiness.
The image of my beloved mother reformed into our clumsy maid Aiko looking away in embarrassment and blushing.
And all of my excitement and joy vanished as quickly as it came.
"I'm alright Aiko," I said with a smile hiding my depression. "I just fell down the bed last night."
"But you're bleeding!" She said worriedly referring to the scratch on my forehead with little dried blood that flowed before drying.
"Oh, this? Don't worry about it it's an easy fix." I said cheerfully before healing it and rising up from the hard and cold floor. "See?"
"Anyway, what's for breakfast?" I said cheerfully with squinted eyes looking back at Aiko. "I'm starving."
"Miss Grace and Master Elrick just arrived and I believe that Miss grace and the other maids are already preparing breakfast that's why I came here to check if you were here because I didn't see you train this morning." She said respectfully.
"Hmm so Grace is cooking I'm sure she's preparing delicious foods." I said excitedly while doing some light stretches.
I then got out of my room and immediately hed to the dining room as Aiko followed me.
On the way, Aiko asked me something.
"Are you really alright Sir Laiya...?" I smiled at her question.
"Of course I am." I Said cheerfully to convince her.
"Understood..." She said a little dubious.
But honestly, I wasn't feeling alright at all but I wasn't feeling down as well you can even say I was happy being able to see my beloved mother again even if it was just a moment.
But what I truly felt was a question itself I didn't know what I was feeling as well.
After walking for some time Aiko and I reached the dining hall but before I entered I asked Aiko for a hug.
"Eh? Um..." This was too much stimulation for Aiko but seeing that Laiya seemed to have a bad morning she tackled her fears and gave Laiya a hug.
After half a minute of Aiko hagging Laiya Laiya was satisfied and informed Aiko that it was alright to release him.
"That felt great Aiko thanks." Laiya said sweetly before opening the door but before he got in he looked back at Aiko and said.
"By the way, you smell nice Aiko."
*puff* Aiko exploded and the door closed leaving Aiko deep red.
