After departing from the "Green Life" laboratory, Shen Congfei set out on his journey back.

Unlike his initial journey, he was eager to return.

The conditions in the Alliance were worse than they had anticipated.

Setting aside the valley route which had been blocked by rockfalls during their journey here, they had to consider taking a detour on their way back.

One option was heading west, returning through the Alliance's inland, but this required passing through the city centre which had been destroyed by the Neutral United Front.

The other option was to head east, following the coastline, which led them through a naval base.

Considering both routes, Shen Congfei decided to take the eastern path.

The reason was simple. Since the city centre had been bombed and turned into a pollution zone.

Setting aside the radiation levels for now.

The Alliance's convoy, which was supposedly transporting support but was actually carrying biological weapons, had also gone off the grid there.
