Chapter Fifteen – Realization

THIRD PERSON'S POV

In Desha's Bedroom

At The Sinclaires' Mansion

In a large bedchamber that was located at the west wings of the Sinclaires' Mansion, the morose Desha was sighted pacing to and fro like a distressed mom. She continued to wander in and about the capacious room, clenching her fists and her eyebrows rutted in rage. Her hazel-hued eyes stared at the pastel pink walls that were coated with baroque motifs, she looked at the walls as if she could be able to read the vacant walls. She moved her gaze to the grandeur and breathtaking magnificence of her room and the glamorous portraits. Even tho there were air conditioners that were at its maximum, fiery atmosphere enveloped the whole room.

Before twenty seconds could elapse, sounds of breaking glasses and ceramics filled the room. The maidservants that passed by her room were utterly knocked for six. Desha could not get hold of her anger and she started breaking all the glassware articles in her room even the sophisticated porcelain vases she bought from the neighboring countries were all shattered into a million and one pieces.

Her father stepped into her room and saw her room in mess and disorder, her bedspread lazily tossed halfway on the bed and the broken glassware articles on the tiled floor. His eyes widened in surprise at such repulsive sight. His daughter's room looked like a raided place.

"What are you doing, Desha? Do you want to hurt yourself?" Panicked Mr. Levi asked. He managed to walk over the broken glassware articles but things could be unpredictable at times. He never expected that this Jayden issue would really affect her to this extent.

What could Desha see in him that she did not see in other nobles' sons? Especially Antonio, the first son of Lord Cathasaigh? He was handsome, intelligent and well-off. Antonio had his own cash and doesn't depend on his father like a parasite. And interestingly, the dude in question stated his utmost interest in her but she rebutted him straight away just like she did to other guys. Antonio was enticed by her beauty when she attended the ceremonial dinner. He loved the wits and pranks the girl displayed and it even got him wanting more of her. He loved sassy girls.

Back to Desha who didn't care to take a careful look at her father, all she could think of was on how to get Jemima out of her way 'cause she was unknowingly biting more than she can chew. A girl that just came into the school a week ago had stolen everything she had, and now Jayden was slowly falling for Jemima. She could remember that moment Jayden left the library without giving her a look of care or smile of assurance as he always did, with just this, her anger intensified.

Her curious father who stood there could do nothing but worry for his daughter, the heiress apparent and he didn't want to lose her as she was the only treasure his wife left for him before passing on to the other world.

He then asked Desha with such gentle tone that someway calmed her. "Desha! What's wrong with you?" The angry girl dropped her anger and opened up to her father. He was the only one she trusted in this world. He had been her backbone and raised her tirelessly to be the courageous damsel she is today.

"Papa, there've been lots of things going on in just a split second." She stated but fresh tears were at the brim. Her eyes welled up with tears and in no time, the tears rolled down to her hollowed cheeks. Mr. Levi on the hand wondered what his daughter was talking about so he made more efforts to mollify her so that she could talk. After more efforts were pushed in, Desha started explaining everything that transpired between her and Jayden, about Caitlyn and Jemima's interference into her plans and other trivial things that posed as a big threat. Mr. Levi now understood the kinds of problems that were now faced for Desha. He wished he could help but Desha insisted on doing the dirty game in her way.

The Desha who was stuffed with rage and hopelessness felt a bit reassured that her father was with her this time around. She felt that reassuring bubble within her to do fiendish things to The Resolute. They were definitely posing as a very big threat to her goals accomplishment. Once they were out of her way, she could find no difficulty in executing the seemingly 'goals' of hers.

With a wild smirk dangling on her sweet lips, she watched her father leave the room to attend to some petty business issues and the maidservants cleaning her room. She felt grumpy at the sight of the young maidens who were cleaning tirelessly so she left the room and headed to her mini garden.
