Not now, not ever!

Lira placed her stethoscope on Junichi's chest to listen to his heartbeat but she heard nothing, "Yep he has a heart alright… but it's not beating" she dropped her stethoscope on the desk.

"How is that even possible?" Jackson thought out loud.

"I'm thinking the same thing, this is scientifically possible" Lira slowly pulled her hand to his chest, before her hand could make contact with the glowing scar on Junichi's chest electrical currents were coming out of the scar and straight to Lira's hands.

"This shouldn't be possible" Lira took her jotter and began jolting everything down, Junichi just sat down on the bed looking confused as he tried to process everything that was happening.

"So what do we do now? We know he is a walking corpse…" Jackson had begun but was cut off with Ava's sudden yell.

"I know where you are going with this so don't even think about it" she stood up from the bed and was ending towards the door.

"But we have to face the facts, you know what the higher-ups are going to do when…" the distress alarm started alerting them that there is a Meta 4 attack, "Perfect timing," he said in a sarcastic tone.

"Come on, let's go, Lira please look after him" she walked out with Jackson following behind her.

"Wait… we are in the M.D.T right now?" he smiled when he realized that he was sitting in his dream building, entering one of the M.D.T and talking with a Meta 3 is something that Junichi has always wanted.

Lira turned to him and gave an awkward smile, "So how do you feel?"

"So, where exactly is the distress signal coming from?" Ava asked as she was turning into her Meta 3 form while heading towards the dispatch zone.

"General Regard said it's from the red light district" Filo came out from one of the rooms and started to make her way to the dispatch zone too.

"Red light district? Didn't they attack there yesterday?" Ava opened the door and went over to her power bike.

"Yh, I was thinking the same thing" Jackson got on his bike.

"Okay, dudes and dudes, time to kill some Meta 4, Mike ready for linking" he grabbed the bike handle, the glowing veins on his body spreading to his bike giving it the same aura as his body.

"Filo, ready for linking" she also transferred her veins to her bike.

"Jackson, ready for linking"

"Hikari, Blurieds, ready for linking"

"Ava, Greenieds, ready for linking"

As it has been discovered, Meta 3 candidates who had Blue glowing veins were known to have superhuman strength and durability, they can only harden the upper part of their body using their fluids, and they were given the name Blurieds.

While the green-veined Metas can only harden the lower parts of their bodies and are known to have incredible moving mobility and high leaping powers, they were called Greenieds.

After linking up their veins to the bikes, they headed out as soon as Ragard gave mechanical groups the go signal to open up the gates.

They zoomed out with their bike and headed towards the Red-light districts, when they got there they saw a bunch of people running out of a catholic church with fear written all over their faces.

Ava jumped up from her back and sped towards the man who came out of the church last, "Sir please, I'm going to need you to calm down" she placed her hands on the man's shoulder.

The man kept panting, he calmed down a little when he saw the giant M on the left side of Ava's uniform, "You are from the M.D.T" He fell to the ground with tears falling from his eyes.

"It's okay now, did you spot any Meta 4?" She asked in a soft tone, trying not to put any more pressure on the man.

"Well this is a rare sight, a human being nice to a Meta 3, certainly intriguing" Jacked whispered to Mike.

"Well, they are not all bad, last week I went to a five-star hotel and the…" He is talking with Jackson and is immediately cut off when Hikari whacks him on the head.

"Keep shut, I'm trying to listen" Hikari walked towards Ava who was still listening to the man's story.

"We were having our usual prayers, I invited one of the members to come on stage and then, the floor…" Men held his head as his eyes widened, he was so afraid that he started mumbling to himself.

Then a loud growl came from inside the church, Ava stood up slowly and drew out her blade, "We'll take it from here" she told the man before walking towards the church's entrance.

"Thank you" the man ran away, falling to the ground multiple times.

All of the Nighthawks stopped at the entrance of the church, they were hearing mushing sounds coming from inside the church.

"Do you think they are…?" Filo paused, the sounds she was hearing were that of something being mushed together over and over again.

"Only one way to find out" Ava opened the door and what they saw wasn't pretty in the slightest, they saw four huge-looking Meta 4s carrying the dead humans in the church and squashing them together before tossing into the giant container they had with them.

"Well, filo, now you've got your answer" Jackson frowned his face before pulling out his sword, "Never knew they were smart enough for this, and I still don't care".

"Uhm… excuse me but I have to use the men's room," He asked Lira who was still running some test on Junichi's blood.

"So, where is the toilet?" he asked her.

"Oh yeah sure" she was so fixated on finding more information from Junichi's blood that everything else around her lost its importance.

He sighed before getting up from the bed and leaving the room. When he got out of the room he saw different workers going up and down in the hallway, he turned to his right and began searching for the restroom.

He asked the workers what he meant along the way and they directed him to the men's room but upon getting there a specific room caught his interest when he walked past the room he felt like something in there was calling to him.

"Help me! Help me!"

The voice cried out in Junichi's head, he slowly walked towards the room where the voice was coming from, he reached for the doorknob and wanted to open it but he stopped when he heard a strange voice from his back.

"And who might you be?" Levi asked, he was looking down at Junichi who was way shorter.

"Uhn… I was looking for the bathroom" Junichi moved away from the door.

"Who are you again? I'm not sure I've seen you around here" Levi gave him a suspicious look, being the new second in command he got familiar with all the faces around the community.

"No way, you're Levi. I heard you can cut a building in half, how come you look older?" He gave Levi a hard look, it finally came to him that he had been asleep for five years, "Ohhhh, now I see" He humped with his hands on his jaws, trying to picture Levi from five years ago.

"You didn't answer my question, where did you come from?" Levi hardened his voice as he moved closer to Junichi.

"Bro chill, I don't see why I have to…"

"Bro?" Levi cut him off by landing a fast blow to Junichi's face, the punch sent Junichi flying and crashing into the dispenser water that was behind him.

"Who the hell?" He gave Levi a hard look before slowly getting up from the floor with his head facing the ground.
