Chapter 19

The night was long, so long that Jaxtyn barely had the time to cover his eyes. Jaxtyn had awoken very early in the morning and had gone to the kitchen to check something to eat. He brewed himself a cup of coffee and walked with it to the room where he had left Chelsea there.

As expected, the sleepy head lady slept on the bed snoring heavily, it made him want to chuckle but was so exhausted to do so. He heaved a sigh that seemed to have been clutched in his chest for a while, he was kind of tired, and his contours showed that.

Closing the door carefully behind him, he walked towards the window, unable to return to the bed again. Jaxtyn slightly opened the curtains, not wanting the sunrays to penetrate and disturb Chelsea's sleep. The light rays that entered the room are enough for now, till his sleepy head roommate wakes up in how many hours that he does not know.

Sighing, he brought the cup towards his lips and took a slow sip from the mug. The hot coffee burnt his tongue, but it was enough to keep him warm, and he loved the sugary taste embedded with the black coffee scent that waffled his nostrils.

Jaxtyn enjoyed the view of the house from here, it is the best ever for now of course, and this isn't even his main home.

He lives at Bonapriso which is a thirty minutes drive from Bonaberi, and there, many people knew his house, especially his fellow Mafians, where they mostly meet to coordinate meetings and other important business affairs.

Bonaberi wasn't bad at all, and the location of his house is the best so far, located at Ancien route on the hill, where anyone who comes there will be easily detected at first sight.

The next thing that made him like this house is the fact that it is mostly admired by several ladies he wants to deal with on his bed, especially as he picks them from the club and brings them here. They mostly know that this is his leisure house, where he comes to pass time with his several girlfriends.

The thought of it made him glance at Chelsea once more, he knew that his plans had failed, he had asked Louis to bring her here with the mind of going to bed with her, at least, he did, laying all night with her by the side but then, he could not browse her even if it was for a tiny second, she became suddenly weak as noodles, wanting to crush his side with all her might, but then, all that was just a dream now, good to push it in the past.

'Ouuff! life is not always as planned, huh?' Jaxtyn questioned himself.

Shaking his head as if accepting that fact, he tried his best to clear his mind because he actually needs a clear mind to function perfectly well, he does not know how or why, but then, Chelsea is slowly becoming one of the many addictions that he wouldn't want her to get in his mind, not so soon at least.

He kept glaring at the view outside, enjoying nature and its beauty when he heard a soft sigh behind him.

Chelsea was still asleep when she finally decided to wake up. She doesn't know how long she had been asleep or what had happened, but she was harshly greeted by a mother of a headache. Her head hurts so badly that she felt like crying, but no, she wouldn't because she is a strong lady, so tough that she would allow a moan to escape her lips, but she failed the law, she sobbed lightly when another pank of headache stroke her head like a thunderbolt.

"Ouch! my head hurts," she murmured.

At first, Chelsea didn't recognize the room she was inside, as her memories refreshed a bit, she realized where she is.

Her eyes broadened in shock as she suddenly looked at the side of the bed looking for the man she had spent the night with, unfortunately, he wasn't there.

Chelsea's heartbeat accelerated as she thought that the mad might have left her there.

"Looking for someone?" the deep baritone standing by the window seal inquired.

Chelsea raised her head up, looking in the direction from where the voice had appeared.

There stood Jaxtyn in all shades of handsomeness, leaning by the window with a ceramic mug in his hands and his legs intertwined at the level of his ankles. His chiseled cheeks grind themselves against one another, as his deep emerald eyes pierced her entire body making her feel uncomfortable.

Chelsea was still on the bed, as she stretched her entire body, with the blanket wrapped up to her waist lever covering her slender legs.

She reflected on Jaxtyn question aware of the fact that he owed him a reply.

"Yes! I am looking for you," she shot back at him.

Jaxtyn Adrian Watson had his mouth dropping to the floor as she looked at the lady that sat on the bed aimlessly.

It seems like Chelsea had spent quite a lot of time locating the man that stood in front of the window seal and her name, her reply was a quick and shocking one which kind of shocked him too, but nonetheless, he had said it, and there is absolutely nothing that she can do apart from that.

"Hmmm!" Jaxtyn started making a slow sound of contempt down his throat, it was evident that he did not like her insolent remark, and he did very little to hide that fact.

"Alright sleepyhead, here am I, why are you looking for me?" he inquired raising a bro.

The heat that burnt through Chelsea's face had no bounds, she was kind of embarrassed over the fact that the man had seen her blush, so, she slowly grabbed the bedspread firmly beneath the bed, trying to hide the way she felt.

Opening her mouth to talk, she found out that the words were stalked in her throat as no matter how she tries it, not a single word could escape her lips.

"Has the cat gotten your tongue?" Jaxtyn inquired provocatively.

Her face reddened suddenly as she heard that, and she threw her head behind, trying her best to stop the pang of headache that swam into her head.
