Dream 8: Hill

Entry #0037

Dear Journal,

I found myself on the top of a hill. Based on the color of the night sky, it was already dawn.

I was alone but, I had my phone as my company. I also had my brown jacket on to give me warmth against the cold air.

I smirked with the thought that my dream world had shown me a memory of mine for the nth time.

Every summer, I, together with my parents, always went to my mother's hometown for a two-week vacation. It was my habit to sneak out at dawn and to go on the highest hill to watch the sunrise.

The light began to appear from the east. The orange colors blended with the dark blue sky, giving pink and violet effects.

I felt enchanted for that moment. Almost half of the sun had appeared. I smiled as it greeted me.

I sat on the grass, not minding the dews. The view was so satisfying. Not only the performance of the sun but also, as the rolling hills received its rays of light.

"Your grandmother was right. You came here." With wide eyes, I looked back at the someone who had spoken it.

He was smiling behind me. His face was too closed so, I tried to pull myself away. However, that attempt almost made me fell from the hill. I was lucky that he was fast enough to hold my waist and to support my back.

"You almost fell," he muttered with worry in his eyes.

He was too closed to me. I wanted to push him but, it felt like I had no strength to do so. My whole system was in chaos because of his presence.
