Chapter 42 From Okay To Not

Having not long got back, Marcus was just settling down after having shown Tia and Harrison where they would be staying, when the door burst open and Joshua stormed in followed by Julianna who was trying to keep up with her brother.

Instantly he knew that something was wrong. Getting up from his seat, he turned around in time to see Joshua storm upstairs. Not knowing what was going on, he turned to his girlfriend. He knew something was really wrong when he did, as he saw her stained face.

"What's happening?" He asked, walking around to the area behind the sofa.

"Our lives are ruined! That's what!" She cried, her voice low and broken.

"Hey...hey, hey...I'm sure we can work something out..." He tried to reassure her.

"No! We can't! My father has just been freed from prison...after we spoke out against him, he's going to be coming for us!" She explained, unable to control her voice.
