It was exactly two weeks after Belle had gone missing did the call finally come through, it was Mrs. Hanks who'd picked it up.

"They're asking for twenty million dollars." She informed the rest of the family whom she'd gathered in the sitting room.

"Those bastards!" Helen swore. "So they've had her kidnapped for ransom all these while and are now only asking for it after putting?ha through?days of anguish and agitation."

"It's definitely Jennifer, having her in jail has her finally deciding to make a move for Belle's release," Mike said.

"She thinks this call coming in while she's in jail is going to convince us?she's innocent?grom of all these? She is even dumber than I thought, this is just evidence of her involvement, it took arresting her to get Belle out, she has given orders to her men obviously." Helen said in a strong tone of hatred against Jennifer.
