"How can I drop it without seeing you? How do I trust you?" Mike asked clutching the pouch filled with money he was holding.

"You don't want to know what I will do to this little one here so you better do as I say!" The man on the other end said in a harsh tone.

Mike swallowed, looked around, and dropped the money behind an ad board for some movie. He was in the outskirt of the city and the drop-off location was in front of some obviously long abandoned cinema.

Mike's heart was racing even as he had kept the money, he wasn't certain that whoever these bastards weren't going to hurt Belle or worse, he shook his head, he had to keep optimistic thoughts now, she was fine, she'd be. He couldn't fathom the pain Kelly was going through if he was feeling like this, she had completely shut off everyone else, he didn't blame her but that still hurt like hell, the fact that he couldn't be with her now, he couldn't help ease her pain and grief as he'd have loved to.
