Chapter 18 Chapter 18

Michael looked fearfully at Lucifer, with eyes as wide as Victoria's legs when he was fucking her and his body trembling. Victoria looked petrified at Lucifer, his eyes were shining with fury and his fists were clenched tightly.

"Get out, Victoria." Lucifer gritted. His annoyance and rage increasing with every single breath Michael was taking.

"No! Please! I was the one who-"

"I SAID GET OUT!" Lucifer growled as entire room shook with his words. Victoria let out a startled scream when Lucifer grabbed Michael by his head and smashed it on wall nearby, blood seeping out like a waterfall of red liquid.

Michael groaned in agony, as Lucifer threw him across the room, shattering the glass table as Michael's bare back hit the table. Shreads of glass pierced his skin, making small several red holes in his back.

"Stop it! Please!" Victoria screamed, tears falling through her eyes like the blood seeping through Michael's body, fresh and raw.

"What's happening?" A familiar sound resonated in room as Victoria looked fearfully at door. Elijah stood there rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, yawning as he looked at Lucifer.

"Elijah." Victoria breathed out in anticipation, knowing now Michael would be all done. Elijah's sloppy eyes fully awakened when his soft green eyes landed on Michael's form and then his eyes switched over to Victoria, who had nothing but a white sheets wrapped around her naked body. Pieces joined in Elijah's head as he understood the situation before his eyes slowly darted towards Michael, angrily.

"You sick fuck!" Elijah yelled charging at Michael, who shielded his head with his hands, as Elijah picked him up by his neck and slammed him against the wall.

"How dare you?!" Elijah shouted.

"I SAID STOP IT! I LOVE HIM!" Victoria screamed letting the dam of tears broke down. Lucifer looked at her like she had lost her damn mind and snarled.

"I'll deal with him himself." He said before gripping Michael's name amd dragged him towards cellars. Victoria's cried fell on deaf ears as Elijah followed Lucifer with rage burning his insides.

Bright lights blinded my vision as I shielded them with my hands, the scene of my nightmares turned into something soft greenery.

"Stop, Lora! Give it back!"

"You've to catch me first!"

My eyes darted to a young boy was sitting on the ground, his pale blue eyes glued to children playing in distance, running across the field. His thick eyebrows narrowed as his small lips turned down in a puffy pout. How he longed to play with children.

He instinctively leaned forward, maybe tempted to run off and join them before he was harshly pulled back.

"Stay still, Lucifer!" My eyes widened

as I looked at side to see a tall man lurking above Lucifer as he glared down at him. I knew I was dreaming, I was aware of that but why was I dreaming of his childhood?

"It's natural for him to play...he's just a child." My ears quipped up as I heard soft feminine voice, coming from back. I swiftly turned around, and I met with the sight I wished never to forget. A tall, beautiful, raven haired women stood wearing a pale pink corset, behind me as she stared down at small boy.

The man who was behind Lucifer glared at her.

"He's not a child...he's a curse." My eyes darted to Lucifer as his eyes looked from man standing behind him to woman.

"If you'll keep saying these things..he'll probably grew up hating himself." The woman walked towards the man. I stood there watching them converse.

"He's your son, Kendrio. Give him affection he deserved." The woman said crouching next to Lucifer, who looked sad and unhappy.

Kendrio! Lucifer's father!

"I refuse to be known as father of a monster." Kendrio said coldly and my heart squeezed as Lucifer's expressions changed into one of pain. I gulped down. How could a parent be so cruel to their own child?

I glanced at Lucifer. He looked so young and innocent, his face was drowned in unhappiness, he seemed upset. And it looked like it was quiet normal for him to hear his father insulting him.

I looked as woman leaned forward and gently touched his cheek.

"When will I be able to play with them?" Lucifer's young and soft voice caressed the air.

The woman smiled. "Soon."

Kendrio looked down at Lucifer as he scoffed with distaste. "I would've killed him by now if it wasn't for his blood."

I gasped. How can he be so cruel?!

The woman immediately looked up at Kendrio. "You won't. He's my son." She said tensely.

She was Nora! His mother!

I took a step towards them as I noticed look of devastation on Lucifer's face. My heart aches, he was just a child, probably seven or eight years old.

"For fuck's sake, Nora! If it wasn't for his hybrid blood, my claws would've been deep in his chest! He's living only because he's powerful, stronger....the perfect warrior." Kendrio growled.

No! No! No!

"The perfect weapon..." Nora shook her head.

"He's just a boy-"

"He's a mistake." Kendrio cut her off. "The consequence of my negligence."

My heart clenched, my throat tightened. Parents could never hate their child. Kendrio hated his own son, a hybrid, who could just wipe this whole planner with his bare hands?

Was he just using him for his own purpose?

Kendrio huffed before walking away as Lucifer looked sadly at his mother.

"Am I a monster, mamma?" His oft voice shattered my heart into million pieces.

Nora smiled brightly. "No, Lucifer. You're a sweet boy, mama's boy." She said wiping the tear away from Lucifer's eyes as she pulled him in her arms.

I jerked awake, sweat dripping down my face like someone had poured cold water on me. Why did I had that nightmare? Was it a reality? Or was it a dream?

I was confused, my heart was quivering, and my body was trembling. Pushing the sheets away, I rushed to bathroom and opened the tap as cold water dripped down. I splashed water on my face as coldness numbed me.

Did Kendrio really hated him?

Did his childhood was the reason he was the man he was now?

I closed my eyes as painful looking on young Lucifer's face flashed in front of my eyes. He was unloved, unwanted and he begged his father's affection?

I was confused. I needed to know. Would he treat my child the same his father treated him?

With dread in heart, I ran towards Alatar's working room. He was tthe one who could answer me. I opened the door and barged in as shocked face of Alatar greeted me.

"Alatar.." I panted. I knew running in hallways wasn't good for my child but I was too devastated you recall.

He looked shocked at me for a second as he cleared his throat.

"My lady," he bowed.

"Why am I having dreams, about him, his childhood?" I asked suspiciously, I know I was looking like I had ran some kind of marathon but I was confused.

He looked at me for moment as he motioned me to sit on chair. With trembling legs, I managed to sit.

"Because you're sharing his blood, like he's sharing yours." His words confused me more. I gave him a second glance as I asked nervously.

"Is he having my nightmares?" I asked. How would it feel to see Lucifer having nightmares of himself.

"Yes, like you're having his." He said. So, what I saw earlier was a memory of his past, of his childhood. Was his childhood was reasonable for his present personality?

Thousands of questions were running through my mind, like thousands of assumptions I was having.

Again, my heart clenched.

Did my child would suffer same as him?

"Can I-I play with you?" Scared, terrified voice of Lucifer muttered as he neared the children playing at distant.

The boy stood protectively in front of his sister as he glared at Lucifer.

"We are done playing?" The boy said.

"Maybe...maybe we can play another game." Lucifer mumbled, heartbroken to know no one wanted to play with him.

"No, we'll play tomorrow. Let's go, Andrea." The boy said grabbing his sister's hand.

Lucifer desperately stood in front of him.

"Please...I just want to...play." His soft blue eyes stung as tears streamed down his face.

"Stay away. You're not like us! You're a monster." The boy snarled at Lucifer as he pushed him away. Lucifer cried as he watched the children going away, whispering things about him.

"I-I'm not a monster." Lucifer said softly as tears welled in his eyes. His mind went back to time when his father called him a monster. Slowly, anger boiled inside him as he wiped his tears with back of his hand and stood up.

"I AM NOT A MONSTER!" He shouted at no one and cried loudly as his shoulders shook.

"I am a monster." Lucifer said, looking at pictures of his mother, her soft blue eyes stared at him back as a bright smile was planted on her red lips.

He gently caressed her picture as his thumb roamed over sharp edges of frame.

"I have became what father desired me to be, a weapon, a monster..." He swallowed remembering the time when his father used to beat Nora for treating Lucifer's wounds. "I am what you didn't wanted me to be. I am becoming the man who destroyed you, who destroyed us."

His eyes roamed over features of his mother as he remembered the time how people of castle used to say how much he looked like his mother.

"I'm not the same boy you used to love, I'm not more your sweet boy, I'm a monster, a bloodsucking leech, ready to demolish everything...but.." He paused as he sensed a presence behind him. Quickly he blinked back his emotions before he turned around.

"What're you doing here?" He asked not looking at her.

Sarah gulped down.

"I was just...looking for you." She said honestly, thinking whays he just heard was true.

"Why?" His rough voice sounded nothing like before, when he was talking to his mother's picture.

"I'm having nightmares...of your past." She said choosing her words carefully. She knew Lucifer was easy to get angry.

She watched as Lucifer's body tensed as he slowly looked up at her with darkness roaming around him.

She feared him, she knew but at that moment, she saw flicker of uneasiness in Lucifer's eyes as she took a hesitant step toward him before continuing.

"Why did your father hated you?" She asked nervously. Lucifer clenched his jaw as his eyes flicked wine red. She knew she should had run back to her room at that instant but something inside her told her to stay and she stayed.

She saw pain behind the darkness of his eyes. She could had swore, his blue eyes held so much grief and darkness than any brown orbs.

"It's none of your fucking business." He said anger slowly lacking his words. She knew she was playing with fire, and she would get burned.

"You were nothing but just a child." She said taking another step towards him. He gave her his darkest look as his eyes turned red.

"I said. It's. None. Of. Your. Fucking. Business." He gritted, his every word sounded like a threat, a warning for her to stop right there. But she protested, and for first time listened to her heart.

"I'm not forcing you to tell me anything but since, you're going to cage me here, with you, for eternity, I want to know about my captor." She said taking another step as she stood in front of him with only few feet between them.

He raised his brow as the room started to get cold.

"Get out before I hurt you." He growled taking a threatening step towards her. She didn't budged instead stood her ground.

"You've already hurted me enough to hate you." She said with a faint smile on her lips. His body stiffened as his eyes flickered back to crucelean blue.

His heart clenched hearing her words.

"Sarah.." He muttered closing his eyes as he tried to control himself, and breathed in deeply.

"I don't want to hurt you, and right now, I can't seem to control my rage." Lucifer said, taking deep breaths, to calm his raging beast inside, his eyes now and then flickering between blood red and ocean blue, a lethal combination.

Sarah gulped, her heart quivering inside, her throat painfully constricted, her body slightly shivering, but still she didn't moved.

"Why are controlling your anger? Let it out, like you always do." She said taking another step towards him.

Lucifer snarled, "Fucking go away!"

Sarah chuckled, she knew she was stupid enough to provoke him further but her stupidity was repressed in front of her slightly growing anger.

"I won't! Hurt me like you always do! Why control when you can let it all out, on me?!" She reciprocated his snarl. Anger slowly dormenting her fear. Lucifer took two long strides before grabbing her by her arm, she winced.

Sarah didn't made a move to jerk her arm instead looked up at him, in his eyes which were as raged as his anger.

"CAUSE I DONT WANT TO FUCKING HURT YOU!" He growled.

"WHY?!" She shouted. "WHAT THE HELL CAHNGED?! IS IT BECAUSE I AM PREGNANT WITH YOUR CHILD?!" She pointed her finger on his chest and glared up at him.

"CAUSE I FUCKING LO-"

He stopped like someone had poured ice cold water on him. His hold loosened on her as she stumbled backwards. He looked at her like she was a nightmare and swallowed hard.

What was I about to fucking say? He thought.

"You what? Tell me, you what? Lucifer? What do you feel for me?" She asked nervously, knowing what he was about to say. Maybe she low key wanted to hear it. Maybe she wanted to know how she looked in his eyes, how he felt for her, if what Draven said was even true? Her heart squeezed into hurt as he turned around, his anger no longer present.

"I can burn this whole world up with what I feel for you."
