"Calm down." Draven sighed looking tensely at Lucifer, he just couldn't understand why Lucifer's hunger was increasing with each gulp of blood. He had sucked Zahara dry and yet it wasn't enough for him.
"I need more." Lucifer muttered as he wiped the blood from his mouth with back of his hand. Blood dripped down his naked torso, his muscular arms flexing with each movement.
Draven walked towards him and crouched down, placing his hand on his shoulder.
"You need Sarah, not blood." Draven reminded and Lucifer stiffly nodded as he tried to supress his hunger for blood.
"But first, we need to get some clothes for you. Dont want your dude to hang losely." Draven chuckled as he stood up and looked around, his ears twitched when he heard sound of hurried footsteps.
"Right time, Alatar." He grinned as Alatar came in view.
"My lo-Oh heavens!" Alatar shrieked, looking down as his eyes landed on his lord, eyes wide opened when he saw the state Lucifer was in.
"Don't stress, Alatar. It isn't his blood." Draven tried to calm old man who was looking pale. Lucifer closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, tried to suppress his hunger. Turning into werewolf had consequences, and he was facing them. Being a hybrid, he never turned into wolf but now that the curse was breaking, he? could understand why hybrids were considered dangerous.
He remembered when his mother told him about the curse.
"It's a curse, a hybrid curse, that your ancestors have also gone through. You just need to control yourself, Lucifer."
Ten year old body looked up at his mother and frowned.
"What is a hybrid, mother?" Innocence dripped down his words, his mother chuckled lightly and ruffled his hairs.
"Hybrids are powerful, more dangerous and terrifying than wolves and vampires. Your ancestors, King Endor was a hybrid too. He was a warrior, a courageous man, he never turned his back on his people." Nora smiled down at her son when Lucifer's face become excited to know more.
"So, King Endor was also like me? A hybrid?" The excitement in little boy's words had Nora smile too. She picked him up and made him sit on her lap as he looked adoringly at him.
"Yes, he was like you. He was the first hybrid and you're second. When he died some witches placed a curse on him. People say that witches cursed King Endor so that no hybrid could use it's true powers." Nora explained, Lucifer nodded his head and quipped his head up towards his mother and asked.
"What curse, mother?"
"That a hybrid won't be able to use it's two sides at the same time, like your great great grandfather, King Endor could use his werewolf side and vampire side simultaneously, but you won't be able to." Nora said, sorrow in her voice.
Lucifer's smile fell as he stared in space.
"That's why father hates me? Because I can't turn into a wolf?" He asked, tears glistening in his arctic blue eyes.
Nora gave him a reassuring smile, running her hand through his hairs.
"Your vampire side has dominated your wolf side, but that doesn't mean your father hates you. He loves you...a lot...but his way of showing love is... different." Nora found right words. Hatred that Kendrio had for Lucifer was intense, she knew.
"Will I stay like this always? Half-hybrid?" He asked.
Nora shook her head.
"Every curse has a cure..." She made him look towards her and patted his cheeks and ran her thumb across his forehead where Kendrio had hitted Lucifer with a sword.
"Hybrid curse can be broken only and only if a hybrid drinks blood of a being powerful than him." She told him. Lucifer frowned again.
"So, you mean a tribrid? But there are no tribrids, mother."
"Yes, there aren't but there still is a possibility..." She assured him. Lucifer laughed as Nora tickled his sides.
"Nicholas fled. Leaving his sister to die. What a sibling bond they shared." Draven laughed as Alatar chanted something. Lucifer was sitting in his chair, his mind wandering somewhere else, his emotions all over the floor. He didn't understand but it was the first time after years he was thinking about his mother like this.
He remembered her words when she told him how a hybrid curse can broke from tribrid's blood.
But his chid wasn't born yet. So, how did he turned into a wolf this yearly? He swallowed.
"What's the plan now? I can't fucking wait to rip that damb bastard's head off." Draven muttered as he cracked his knuckles.
"I can't understand. How is this happening?" Lucifer said when he suddenly stood up, his chair colloided with ground as he paced anxiously in the room. Draven frowned, noticing Lucifer's odd behaviour.
"What's bothering you?" Draven asked.
Lucifer stopped as he looked down, thinking hard.
"The curse. A tribrid's blood was supposed to break it. Then why the fuck I turned so early." He said. That's when Draven frowned again as he himself thought about it.
Colour drained from Draven's face as he swiftly looked at Lucifer alarmed.
"Who's blood did you had last time?" He asked anxiously.
Lucifer dragged his fingers through his jet black hairs.
He sighed, "Sarah's. A week ago."
Draven's eyes wide opened.
"You can't be fucking serious!" Draven muttered startled as he pulled out a big brown old looking book from the shelves behind Lucifer's desk.
Lucifer's brows knotted together in perplexed manner. "What's wrong?"
"Not now, Lucifer." Draven insisted.
Lucifer flung back, "Fucking answer me, Draven." He cocked an eyebrow and crossed his arms over his chest.
Truth weighed down on Draven's shoulder, anxiously turning the pages until his eyes caught familiar lines written in italics.
Breathing become difficult for him, his hands trembled as book slipped from his hands. His eyes wide opened as he shook his head. "No! No! No ! No! No! No! No!"
Lucifer's jaw tensed, his two long strides took him where Draven dropped the book, the book exactly opened on the page where Draven was reading and Lucifer's brows knitted together.
"I don't understand." He muttered and Draven swallowed hard.
Lucifer's eyes narrowed and nose wrinkled as he read the lines written elegantly in italics.
'.....can only break after drinking from creature more powerful than the hybrid itself.....'
Lucifer noticed how there was written 'powerful' not 'tribrid'.
"Fucking hell..." He breathed out in shock. Weight of situation along with reality intensified and his suspicion rose.
"She's not normal...she never was." Draven muttered. He backed up against the wal, his eyes gleaming with grimace.
With a heavy breath, he continued. "She's-"
"The cure..." Lucifer declared.

"And you're telling me this now?!"
"I'm sorry, okay. I didn't knew this until Lucifer called Michael back to Reynes."
Sarah scoffed, waves of vexation and anger washing over her.
"Lucifer's trying to keep you safe." Victoria pleaded, trying to calm Sarah.
Sarah's anger rose when she watched Michael coming towards them.
"Why didn't you told me this before?" She blamed Michael.
"And what would've you done by being there, huh? Fight Nicholas? With what? Your defiant human claws and dull round canines?" Michael mocked.
Sarah's gaze shot up to search Michael's face.
The man had got to be fucking with her.
But, she knew he was right. What was she supposed to do? She was weak, a human as everyone described her.
The ice of her anger melted a little.
"I deserved to know atleast." She muttered inaudibly, feeling slightly left out. Lucifer loved her, she was aware, but still he didn't treated her as his equal. He kept things from her, like how he was planning a battle.
Victoria crouched down to her level and rubbed her arms providing comfort.
"He needed to keep things, only to keep you and this..." Victoria pointed towards Sarah's swollen belly. "...child safe."
Sarah gulped slightly.
"What if.." her sentence hanged in air. Victoria understood the meaning behind her uneasiness.
"He's the hybrid. He can't be killed." Victoria reminded her in warm tone.
"I know..." Sarah whispered softly.
Michael had promised her he would tell her everything she needed to know only if she would go with him. She agreed, and when he led them to this small, mini version of Lucifer castle, she found herself shocked.
And when she saw Victoria and Karl there, she didn't knew what to say. To say she was happy would be an understatement. She was beyond ecstatic.
But when Michael told her about the battle, she panicked and demanded to go back. Victoria's assurance, assured her little. But her heart, it was in chaotic turmoil.
Her emotions fleeing, unknown, strange feeling seeping through her.
Sarah closed her eyes. Her head was beginning to hurt.
Michael and Victoria had assured her that Lucifer had everything planned out, that he would be fine, that two of them would be reunited after a week or so.
Sarah wanted to believe them.
Because the alternative was unthinkable.
To shift her mind from Lucifer's uncertain fate, Sarah spent her time with Karl and started taking care of herself for her child. Karl was bigger now, and more healthier. Sarah also came to know about Michael and Victoria's relation, and she couldn't help but feel happy for them.
As she spent time with Karl, she could see reflection of Falcon in him. She was missing him, her bestfriend. Victoria and Michael looked happy together, their relationship was sugar and spice. They weren't ashamed to made out in front of her too. She was left astounded by their boldness but also they had beautiful chemistry.
Three days passed with anticipation gripping her thoughts. Her mind now and then wandering off to father of her child, thinking if he was alright.
On the certain evening of day third, she heard a knock on her door. She frowned when she noticed the time. The sun had already sat down, and this was late at night. Carefully, she opened the door.
Victoria's beautiful face greeted her. Sarah opened the door wide.
"Come in." She said.
Victoria sighed and handed a piece of paper to her.
Sarah frowned. "What's this?"
She fumbled with paper and unfolded it.
"A letter...from whom? I have no idea. I didn't read." Victoria's words set her heart on fire.
Sarah impatiently opened the letter. Her eyes desperately running over the words written beautifully in cursive.
Dear Sarah,
? ? ?? It's been a while, I know. But now I can't help myself. This distance between us is tormentous. Keeping myself away from you is harder then I initially thought. My heart's not at ease, I want you, here with me. A king is nothing without his Queen. Sending you away wasn't a good choice, I insist. Please come back to me, my love.
I'll always love you.
Your lover.
A small smile managed to painted on her soft lips as she read the last line again and again.
"It's from Lucifer," Sarah immediately looked up at Victoria with a huge, wide smile on her lips. "He wants me back."
That's all Victoria heard as Sarah rushed downstairs. She caught Michael mid way whens he saw him training some soldiers.
"Take me back. Now!" She beamed in excitement. Michael gave her a confused look and looked over her shoulder as Victoria reached them.
"Back? What're you talking about, woman?" He scoffed with displeasure.
Sarah pressed the piece of letter to his chest and raised her brows.
"TAKE. ME. BACK. NOW." She said, each word loud and clear. Michael gave her a disappointed look and read the letter. His eyes narrowed on certain words and widened at some.
"I didn't knew that the scary Lucifer could be this romantic." Michael scoffed as he looked at Victoria who shrugged her shoulders in response.
"Anyways, his orders are my command." He muttered as dismissed the soldiers.
Sarah impatiently followed him as Michael grabbed his sword from wall.
"Are you going now?" Victoria asked, following them. Michael nodded.
"The sooner, the better." He said and gave her a hard kiss on her lips before pecking her cheeks. "I'll be back."
Victoria smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Hope so." She mumbled.
"So, can we, now?" Sarah faked coughed and pointed towards the gates.
Michael rolled his eyes.
"Follow me." He said and Sarah followed him like a child who was about to get a new toy from toy store. She couldn't help but smile now and then, remembering his words.
'I love you.'
