He did not know how long he spent staring at Alecia's picture back at her resting place. If it wasn't for Aiko reminding him that it's time to eat lunch then he would not bother to move from kneeling.

He still can't fully process the harsh truth that slaps him in the face. Only after going back to the hotel, when he suddenly remembers the guilt written in Ashley's face every time, he tried asking her about Alecia.

What could have happened to them? What could have happened that lead to Alecia's passing?

He can't help but think about various scenarios that might have happened between those two. Since he knows that Ashley has spent these recent years by Alecia's side so he doesn't understand how did she pass away?

He knows for sure that Alecia doesn't have any chronic illness that can lead to... this.
