Bellas Pov
I can't believe Ty answered their phone, I was totally unprepared for that, but after him passing the phone to dad I explained about all the clients who wanted to donate gifts for their auction and by the sounds of it Ty's mom was crying a lot. I managed to convince them to come to my office today so we could do the paperwork for the property development they are purchasing from me, but I have a little something up my sleeve, they should be on their way here now.
"So, Dale these are the most relevant developments I have that would suit your needs, I will print them off for you and you can either take them away with you or you can view them here. I have another meeting in a few minutes, but you are welcome to stay here with Jay and have a browse."
"I'll stay and have a look through if you don't mind" I shake my head
"That is fine, I just need to print some bits off"
"Um- Bella, look I am sorry if this is a bit forward but I was wondering if you would join me for dinner tonight, I was thinking of trying out the new restaurant on Elmvale Walk" I will be honest I was taken aback, after all Dale is hot, his blue eyes are bright and his black hair is not too long, he is very muscular I mean he would have to be in good condition he is a cage fighter after all. I look at Jay who smirks and nods "I will have my niece for an hour or two plus Sarah would love cuddles with her" Jay responds making me laugh
"Okay, sure. Let me know what time and I will meet you there." I smile at Dale who gives me a full grin okay I admit he is gorgeous.
'Knock knock' I jump at the knock on the open office door and see Mr and Mrs Foley standing there, giving them a wide smile
"Mr and Mrs foley, thank you for coming in on such short notice, um- this is my brother Jay and his friend Dale who is also looking to purchase one of the company's properties" they greet each other politely.
As myself, Bri, and Mr and Mrs Foley sit in the meeting room I start by placing my papers on table
"Okay, Mr and Mrs Foley as you know the property you wished to purchase was 2.6 million but we agreed that you guys pay half and I will pay the other half as a donation from the company" I looked at them and they looked confused now "I have a proposal for you, now this is not the way I usually handle business but Tyler showed me your property that is for sale now you are asking for 5.2 million for it, so how about I give you 5.2 million which will cover not only me buying your property which would make the perfect home for me and my family but it also means I will be donating the development you guys wish to buy for your charity, all I ask is that I can rely on your business to promote my business and vice versa" I look up at Mr Foley who is swiping harshly at his eyes and Bri has Mrs Foley wrapped in her arms.
"Bel- Bella- are you seriously saying you- are giving us a 2.6-million-dollar development for free? And that you willing to give another 5.2 million dollars for our property?" Mr Foley asks and I nod
"Absolutely Sir, your charity has helped so many people change their lives and most importantly it has let people continue living and for that you have no idea how many grateful people you have behind yourself and your wife. I know this is a lot to take it but I also have this for you-" I pick up all the print-offs
"These are from my clients and companies who are donating these to yourself and your wife to put up for auction at the masked ball, I also have another sheet here and these are people who want to support the charity on a regular basis." I hand him over the papers and the door opens
"Hey Bella, sorry to interrupt. I have to get off now, Jay is still with Ava, but I have circled the properties I would like to view and I shall see you this evening" Dale says grinning
"No problem, Dale see you soon" I turn back to Ty's parents who by the look on their faces are in shock.
"Bella, are you sure you want to do this- I mean it is substantial amount of money" Mrs Foley asks and I respond "absolutely, I already have the contracts for the development ready for you guys to sign. If you need to time to think about that is absolutely fine but I would be looking to move as soon as possible" they pass a glance at each other and Bri does the same with me.
"We can meet tomorrow at our property, or should I say your new property and we can all sign together" Mr Foley announces bringing the biggest smile to my face, I can't believe it we will be getting the house I have dreamed of since I was a little girl.
"Sounds perfect, is 11am suitable for you guys?" I ask and they both nod before getting up and embracing me in a tight hug.
Ty's Pov
After a light skate this afternoon I noticed I had a missed call from my mom so I immediately called back and she informed me that Bella was buying the house from them and that she was also donating the housing development to the charity, I couldn't believe it.
"There is something else, but I don't know if I should really be telling you "My mom almost whispers
"Go on mom"
"Okay so when we arrived today at Bella's office- there was no one in reception so we made our way to her office and the door was open and it-uhm- sounded like she was planning on going on a date tonight" fuck me, that is not what I expected but we are not together so she can date who she likes
"Thanks for telling me mom, but it is not really my business as we are not dating or anything"
"Well just in case you wanted to know they are going to the fancy new restaurant on Elmvale Walk and I don't think they had arranged a time; I must go but we will see you tomorrow. Love you baby"
"Thanks mom, love you too"
I sit in the players' lounge for a few minutes when an idea hits me, this could go really bad or really well. The rest of the afternoon went fairly quickly and a few of my lads are just chilling at mine now, we plan on being there around 6.30pm, after a quick shower I pulled on my dark jeans and white shirt rolling the sleeves up to my elbows.
As we pull up in two cars outside the valet takes the cars around to park up, after a quick glance in the window, I nodded to the lads and we headed in going straight to the corner booth at the other side of the bar area, ordering some drinks and food I sat back in my seat and watched as she laughed at something he said before taking a drink of water.
