Eleven

Chapter eleven 

Bellas Pov 

Dale is nice and it is a stunning restaurant but something feels off, I can't explain it. I excuse myself to go to the restroom as I make my way down the corridor I try and push the door only for it to be pushed open straight into my head almost knocking me off my feet but two strong arms catch me but before I can turn around the woman who caused these walks out and sees me clutching my head 

"Oh my- I am so sorry are you okay?" she asks clear worry marking her face 

"Don't worry about me, it's not your fault. I mean who the hell puts a two-way door for the restroom in a restaurant?" we both laugh  

"Well again I apologise, I am sitting in the left corner window seats if you need anything please don't hesitate to come and ask" I smile at her.  

"You okay, beautiful?" What is he doing here? 

"Tyler, what a nice surprise" I smile turning to see him, this explains the 'off' feeling and boy does he looks delicious  

"Stop looking at me like you want to eat me, beautiful" he smirks, cocky fucker "but seriously are you okay?"  

"Uh, I don't know, I feel a bit light headed" it's not a lie, I actually feel like I am about to pass out.  

"Right, come on" he takes my hand 

"Wait! What are doing?"  

"Well, I'm going to take you to say goodbye to your date then I'm going to drive you home" Umm oh shit,  

"I can't walk out to Dale holding your hand, Tyler" he smirks and chuckles letting go of my hand I instantly miss the contact but his hand lands on the bottom of my back.  

As Tyler guides us towards Dale, I see that Dale is in his element talking to some of Tylers team including Rome and when Rome sees us approaching his little polite smile turns into a face splitting grin, I am still clutching my head when we reach the table 

"Bella, what happened?" Dale stands "Holy shit, you're Tyler" Dale fan girls while I roll my eyes 

"Bella almost got knocked out by a door so I am going to take her home, Rome you will take Bella's car back" he puts his hand out and I reach into my bag grabbing the keys and passing them to him.  

"Hurt my car and I will gut you like a fish, got it?" I stare at Rome who stares at me but nods like a school boy that has just been told off making everyone laughs. 

"Uh, Bella, I can take you home if you want since you are my date" Dale says confused looking between Ty and I "plus I mean - uh do you actually know him?" he asks looking at Ty  

"She knows me very well, Dale, and seeing as you have clearly had a few drinks while your 'date' was nearly knocked out, I will be taking her home" Ty passes my keys to Rome and Dale tries to hug me but I back off slightly 

"Look, Dale. I am sorry about tonight, maybe we can rearrange?" I instantly regret saying it as Ty's fingers dig into my hip.  

"Right, we are leaving. See you lads tomorrow" Suddenly he grabs my hand interlacing our fingers as we walk out of the restaurant I'm momentarily blinded as a flash goes off, fucking media!  

"Want to give them something juicy to publish?" Ty asks and I look up at him and he's smirking before I playfully slap his chest and laugh.  

As we reach his sleek black range rover, he opens the passenger door for me even helping me in and closing the door before rushing round to the driver's side and the flashing continues until we vacate the parking area. 

Ty's Pov 

I couldn't believe that guy Dale, I mean what type of male has several shots while his date had been missing for a while, she is much too good for him and now I am driving her home. When we reach her drive, she realises the fob for her gates are on there so she pulls out her phone  

"Hi Clare, can you open the gates please?" Bella asks and I'm assuming Claire has asked her why she doesn't have the keys 

"I'll tell you when I get in" Bella laughs and hangs up as the gates open and I drive up the long drive to the door before she can reach for the handle, I am already out of the car opening the door for her as the house door opens and Bella steps out, immediately I grab her hand and shut the door before walking up to the house, Bella grabs her head again and I am wondering if she has a concussion from that door 

"Do you want me to leave, Bella?" I am hoping she says no, but she turns to face me 

"No, I don't want you to leave but if you need to go then it's fine." 

"Then it looks like I am staying" I smile down at her, this woman has got me in trance because it's not until a cough nearby alerts us to someone else standing there 

"Uh, not to be rude but I thought you went out with Dale?" Claire asks but she is clearly amused, Bella closes the door and we walk through the foyer into the large lounge 

"Okay, so don't laugh" she points a finger at Claire who nods but is trying to contain her smile "So, I was with Dale at the restaurant and I went to the restroom only to be almost knocked out and almost fell on my ass, but then look who showed up" she gestures next to her where I am sat and Claire immediately bursts into a fit of laughter but calms down quickly when Bella glares at her so Claire quickly wipes the tears that fell during her laughter  

"You are telling me you may have a concussion and Tyler caught you before you fell and then what, just took you from your date?" she chuckles but quickly covers her mouth 

"Pretty much, he insisted on taking me home. Rome is bringing my car back though, where's Bri and Ava?"  

"Upstairs, Bri is meeting Rome tonight and she just bathed Ava and is getting her ready for bed, you should go and get a shower and get in to something more comfortable Bella, I will make you a hot drink do you want coffee or tea?" Bella nods "Coffee please, and whatever Ty wants, I won't be long" she smiles before leaving. Honestly, I thought it would be awkward just me and Claire but she is actually hilarious, she passes me a coffee and starts making a bottle for Ava 

"You have got a couple of games coming up soon, don't you?" Claire asks 

"Yes, we have a home game on Friday and then a game in Michigan on Monday" The sound of footsteps approaching brings both of our attention to see Bri walk in with a little bundle in her arms. 

"Hey Ty, Bella won't be long-" she smirks "I'm going to sit upstairs with her until she is ready in case, she is sick or passes out." I smile at her; I love the relationships between these guys. 

"I remember your parents saying how good you are with your baby niece Ty; you want to hold her?" uh-oh I mean babies don't scare me or anything but I don't want Bella to feel weird or anything. 

"Maybe you should ask Bella first, Bri? I don't want her to freak out" but Bri and Claire laugh  

"Listen Ty, Bella doesn't like getting close to anyone but already you are closer than most people will ever get. Bella would spend the rest of her life alone with Ava if it meant protecting everyone, she got close too" I nod in response but I really don't understand what Bri is trying to say but before I get to ask there's a scream from upstairs, Bri places Ava in my arms before I have chance to realise what is going on and I turn to Claire who follows her daughter upstairs, and I'm alone with a baby but looking down at her she is tiny and dressed in a bright pink Minnie mouse sleepsuit and she has surprisingly long dark hair on her head, she is fast asleep and lays happily in my arms.
