Chapter 232: Tracking_2

Michael Andrews' phone lit up. It was a text from his wife. She was urging him to return home soon, as most of the food ingredients were already prepared.

Michael checked the time. He needed to get home indeed. He realized that Aria Grant wouldn't come with him and she wouldn't discuss the truth with him either.

"Well, if you don't intend to continue talking to me, then it is pointless for me to stay. I understand what you've been saying, but I still hope you know that all the crazy things Matt Andrews has done were because of you. If you don't have a guilty conscience, or if you can live in peace with yourself, then no one else can do anything about it."

Aria should have anticipated that this matter would touch on one's conscience. It seemed that she was the bad girl, and there was no denial needed. But Aria knew she had no reason to feel guilty. If she could do what Mr. Andrews was saying, wouldn't it be cruel to Matt? Perhaps he wanted to join the Butterfly.
