Michael returned to see that everyone was already seated at the table, with the dishes laid out. It seemed that everyone was waiting for him. Michael felt embarrassed and hardly dared to speak when he sat down.
Old Mr. Andrews was naturally angry. He had already called his grandson back, but Michael had messed up. So, Old Mr. Andrews did not save face for Michael.
