Chapter 295: Fleeing in Panic_2

"I really enjoy having meals with you. I wish we could do this more often. If the weather weren't so cold, I would really like to invite you to have a picnic on the lawn, leisurely enjoying our food."

Thankfully the weather was cold, because Aria Grant didn't know if she could follow her instincts if Josh Nolan would actually invite her like that. If she were to agree, wouldn't that make it more like a date than it already was?

Aria tried to resist these thoughts, hoping not to think too much. Thinking about such things was futile since they hadn't happened. She kept telling herself that some things, although seemingly priceless, are like the wind, once they've passed, they've passed.

"Can you give me a ride please? I'm not feeling particularly well."

Now that they had almost finished eating, Aria hurriedly said this, partly because she was worried about the other activities Josh might have planned. Perhaps those activities were already prepared by Manuela West.
