Chapter 313: Steps

Ivy Grant was unable to voice her grievances, but her heart was full of them, and so she simply began to cry without caring about what her mommy was thinking. Ivy Grant had so many questions she wanted to ask.

"Alright, there's no need to cry. I know you feel wronged, but I really have nothing with that person from earlier. Can't even a friend's sympathy be allowed? I need space too."

It seemed like a reasonable point, but at that time, Ivy just couldn't understand it, perhaps due to a lack of security.

She had believed that her dad and mom would always be together, but now things had turned out this way, and Ivy didn't know where else she could get her sense of security from.

Any factor that could cause change around her made Ivy anxious. Being cautious was always right.

"But your space... Mom, you talk about needing space here, but do you know how much pain dad is in? I have no idea how long dad will be downtrodden at home alone."

As she spoke, Ivy let out a sigh.
