That was enough for George Flack; at least Aria Grant was willing to talk to him now.

"It's not about you, it's just that there's a bit too much going on, and I'm overwhelmed. I'll adjust as soon as I can!"

The tears from before hadn't fallen, but George's eyes were now shining with an unmistakable sparkle, and happiness was evident within them.

Upon hearing George say that, and knowing that if he admitted to having troubles at work, then those troubles must not be simple; perhaps it was something George currently didn't know how to tell her.

Forget it, Aria didn't want to deal with these matters anymore. If George didn't say, she could just not ask.

After hearing all that, Aria turned her head away again.

George kept holding Aria's hand, constantly questioning himself, so what if he missed a meal or didn't have a drink? Why was he getting angry with Aria?

But Aria's icy face made George feel despair, as if he had softened a bit, yet the situation seemed to have worsened.
