Aria Grant tried to suppress her rising anger and regain her composure, thinking that she should focus on being happy, but no sooner had she started to relax than Ivy Grant began to oppose her. Why bother?
Clenching her fists and trying hard to steady her breath, Aria reminded herself that there was no need to get angry with her child. If she couldn't even manage that, then all her previous thoughts were in vain.
So, in the end, Aria gently said, "I'm really sorry, I honestly didn't realize you and Dylan might need to rush back. It's no problem, we can drop the two of you off first, and then I'll go out with your dad."
Leaning back and tilting her head, Aria spoke to Ivy, and having said this much, it would be really inappropriate for Ivy to have a lot more to say.
"I can skip reading tonight, it mainly depends on whether Ivy has other things to do!"
