"You're still talking about it, every time I call you out, you say you have things to do, so who are you to blame? Next time I suggest hanging out, don't refuse anymore!"
Dylan nodded his head desperately, but he was only nodding for the moment. Outside, it felt fun, but when actually at home, he'd realize that being at home was quite nice as well, so it really depended on where he was at the time to know what he was thinking.
"Let's get closer to the beach!"
Ivy said excitedly, and since she was wearing sandals, her little feet seemed eager to try.
Dylan thought about going wild too, but then he felt something wasn't right. Wouldn't that be too dangerous? He had just promised his dad that he would protect Ivy, and it would be bad if something happened.
"How about we just play here? If something unexpected happens over there, it wouldn't be good! What if I accidentally let go of you and you're swept away?"
