"All your lies and denial against me, nana. Finally, it is time for us to settle everything today."
Anticipated over a long-awaited match between both sisters. Nanami and Cynthia couldn't express more or less of their anxiety. One blow and one skill to determine their triumph, but both of them still haven't drawn any move yet since Cynthia manipulate herself with the mana concentration of her surrounding.
A dark side, shrouded with a scream of pain and agony, even far away, both Adelith and Tsukunami could hear multiple souls begging for help, lingering around Nanami's body like a parasite. Nanami used the soul she killed, transmute them to become her power, drained their remaining energy till there was nothing left in the very soul.
That is how Nanami surges her power, ferocious and remorseless. She never cares about the lives in this world, nor has she's ever paying any attention since the first day gained her consciousness in both reality realms.
On contrary, Cynthia, the bearer of light. Found herself a solution for energy diffusion when the riddle to recast her strength in this opposite world. Instead of using the life source, Cynthia successfully unlocks the puzzle which used the scattered mana in the air, transmute to become her own, as she manipulates in whatever she sees fit.
It was chaos within their surrounding, but both sisters remain calm and neutral, wary of each other. Anticipate the moment who'll draw the first move, Nanami couldn't gauge her sister's ability. She couldn't tell if Cynthia is masked by a pretense or either way. Nonetheless, Cynthia gets anxious all over herself not knowing Nanami might exceed her current self.
"What are they doing?" Adelith asked to herself, although heard by Tsukunami who stand beside her, having the same thought to herself too.
"I wasn't sure as well, but I don't think they'll move until something triggered them," answered spontaneously, Tsukunami should have guessed whatever intention brought by them.
Neither one of them was willing to move until a group of demons, getting pushed to their circle, as it was the sign for them to start and finish it in an instance.
Both draw the same move, a sudden disappearance into the thin air, as their speed exceeded the vision of normal sightings. Nothing is visible apart from the sound, a sound where two different ions of energy clash, sparked an after-burn each time they collide within a half-second duration.
It lasts for a second or two. But within that two seconds, they already collide countless times. The group of demons who get caught in the middle, froze as their reaction draw a shocked, mesmerizing the last seconds of their life where the ion energy snuck into their body.
It wasn't painful, without prior notice, and before the demons were aware, their soul already left the scattered body which chopped into pieces. Two seconds, both sisters land their feet in the opposite direction, like a duel from two grandmasters, showing impassive and remained unmoved. It wasn't a satisfying showcase, but somehow Adelith and Tsukunami were troubled not knowing who took the triumph.
The result was given within a few seconds away when Cynthia was the one who took the fall. Spitting blood clots right through her mouth, her knees weaken as she struggles to find breathable air into her lungs. While as for Nanami who turn around, drawing an emotionless reaction, grabbing firm on her fist, enduring the unspoken pain into her chest as well.
No matter how hard Nanami tried to endure, Cynthia landed the same spot through Nanami's chest, punched a hole where her heart was located, penetrating her flesh away as we could see a visible hole. While for Cynthia who was already at her limit, pressing hard on her chest, but the opposite of where her heart was located.
They neither spoke nor stared against each other, the first blow almost took their lives away, but the second blow might be able to determine the winner of this shortest duel. As once again, both using the same tricks again, disappeared into the thin air, enacting the same act, blasting the same pattern of ion energy where this time, their range becomes wider, as both spectators have to move away when the wild wind forcibly engulf their body.
"What are they?! How come a human could contain such monstrous power?!" Adelith speaks in fear, trembling while trying hard to pull her body away from being enveloped into the force field.
Struggling to save themselves from being pulled, both Tsukunami and Adelith can't remain sane while witnessing the duel from both sisters. Although they have experienced the power of immortality, yet this is far more fetched than the previous encounter.
"I'm so happy, sis!! I'm so happy that I could shred you apart now!!" Nanami speaks fanatically, as she already lost her mind right after losing a part of flesh in her body.
"How does it feel to return yourself into shadow? The feeling of not obtaining a solid physical body…"
Cynthia purposely lands her attack just to destroy the vessel. Yes, there is no way, even an immortal or demon that could survive this kind of wound. Cynthia slice off the flesh from Nanami's body, at the same time, she restores the soul of her sister, which had gone along with the vessel. Fixing it back to pieces, was the only way for her to mock Nanami that she still need to learn her places, where she shall place forever in the shadow.
It looks powerful yet displayed such massive power possessed by Cynthia who just awakened by the power within, but deep down inside, she struggles over exhaustion when she still can't adjust herself in this atmosphere filled with the wicked spell.
Nanami just laughs off, crying in tears while displaying a joyful expression, staring right at her sister's face. The grudge she hold got deepened. As she tried to hold back, she didn't even have a better understanding of why Cynthia had to pull such a desperate move against her.
"Losing your head?" Cynthia subdues Nanami, trying to end it while it is still possible.
"Say, my sister. Do you happen to know where Walker is now?!"
Cynthia widened her eyes after hearing the words being spoken in confidence. Not right after she was already at the brink of death, Nanami still express her confidence strongly, suggesting the next attack that might land to her, fatally, hurtful, and filled with much anguish that she might didn't want to experience it again.
