Chapter Fourteen

Kitler arrived in the capital of Namor within an instance right after receiving the command from his master. Landing himself in the throne room, where Nanami already left the seat vacant as she already engage with someone who she loathes the most.

Although the room was empty, the low-rank demon guard who patrol the castle noticed Kitler's presence right out of nowhere, they didn't even decide to ask who he was or where he came from. Without knowing his true intention or capability to deal with them, the only result that came in was the end of their life once they made contact with Kitler.

With a slight touch onto their spear, Kitler doesn't even bother to enchant the spell from his mouth. His frightening eyesight good enough to turn the spears burn in blue blame, as it spread like lightning, covered the whole body of the guard who attempt a worthless apprehend toward him.

"Who the hell was you?!"

One of the guards who survived managed to release the spears before they get to his hand. Trembling while witnessing his comrade get burned into ashes as the very person who stood before him, quietly and slowly, walk toward him. As if like a terrifying assassin who came in unnoticed, Kitler didn't bring his attention toward the lowly life form. Walk away from the throne room knowing Nanami wasn't present, he already predict where the exact location she was at right now.

"Where's your master? Depending on your answer, I might spare your worthless life."

Swift. Cruel. The elite-like soldier was all displayed over his behavior when the first second he arrived and attacked. Execute the plan swiftly, no mercy is given to someone who knows nothing about him. That is what makes Gerothive say the word 'freak', denying his existence as a person.

"She's…she already sneak out along with the troop that set to ambush the last remaining human hive, please spare me, I've got nothing to do with this, I'm just merely a guard…"

Before the demon clarifies his intention, his life has already been decided once he displayed fear and cowardice. Kitler never allowed the same kin, a demon who had nothing but fear to be part of this world. They are ruthless, they are the ones who showed the human that they are the dominators, they must be an example, where only the strong will dominate the weak. Once you've fallen into weak, then the only answer that awaits was death.

That is the resolve Kitler brought up to himself since the first day he live his life in this world. The past of himself? We didn't know it for now, but judging by his determination and behavior, nothing good ever has happened to his younger self, which made the heart sturdy than steel, a determination that is way stronger than anyone in this world.

"Look like I can't stop whatever that has happened."

Kitler walks away from the room, slowly enjoying his bit of time, knowing he's already too early for the late he imposed. His true intention was to stop whatever Nanami tried to do against her sister, but since she was already one step ahead, Kitler can't do anything and just wait for the end of their dispute.

No matter who gonna stand and claim their victory, Kitler didn't care much about their family conflict. The main reason has been hidden for forty years while serving his master. Waiting for the day where he could meet the person he loathes the most, just like how Nanami felt toward Cynthia who keeps denying her existence.

"How do you like it? Still weak even you've already got the power that supposed to be far more superior than us?!"

Nanami draw a cringe, sarcastically laugh at her sister who had already fallen on the ground. The blazing flame that once appears fiery on Cynthia's palm now becomes a smoke of ashes.

"How did you?!" Cynthia groaned over the unbearable pain inflicted by Nanami. Multiple stabs made by dark energy caused a deep wound into her vital spot.

"You've been too over your head lately, my dear sister. Do you think by sending me here a few minutes ago in your realms, I'd conquer the whole capital of Namor?!"

Cynthia tried to recollect all her strength, pulled herself up. Facing the fact that stated by her sister which she just learned a while ago, she just draw a smirk, laughing at the foolishness displayed by Nanami even after she'd been here for a month.

"I still see you as childish as ever, nana." Cynthia recites another casting spell onto her body, betting her luck by not knowing the exact chanting on this realm. "Of course, one month won't give you much expectation of how mature you'll be."

"Don't you dare to lecture me, a sadistic person like you won't even get a chance to stand on both of your feet in this realm!"

Provoked by the sentences said by Cynthia, Nanami won't hold in her anger any longer. Activating a dark dagger on both of her hands, she didn't even bear any hesitation to end Cynthia's life right away. Although the command from her father was to bring her back alive no matter what.

"You sure?" Cynthia spoke before Nanami had her chance to release the dagger, which stunned her while rethinking the consequences she might face later.

Biting between her anger and hesitation due to the command given by her father, Nanami had no other choice but to stare wildly toward the person who used her advantages to escape the judgment of death.

While the chants spelled by Cynthia earlier begin to take effect, she just draws a smile knowing some little secret in this realm was kept hidden by her sister. Without knowing the proper way to enchant the spell, there is no way she can beat her sister who already inhabited this land for a month.

"Look at you, sis. You are nothing but a coward who escapes your death! Do you think you can escape death by putting our father's name?!"

"No one ever says about being cowardly or otherwise. I'm just buying my time, nana. On contrary, do you think you really can beat me?"

Confused but agitated at the same time, Nanami couldn't guess more or less regarding the spell she has been manifest for over a month, which the compatibility is more to dark bearer, in which a light-bearer shouldn't be able to manifest it to become their power.

"You've been living inside my body for more than eighteen years. Do you think I don't know how to chant a reverse spell?!"

Cynthia's inner energy has increased dramatically right after she manifest the first attempt at curing her wound. Secretly she found out the rules of this realm, a secret built by her other father, a secret why Nanami could triple-fold her power in this realm. Cynthia has found the answer, the answer which guides her on a path that may release all the lives in Namor from this nonsensical salvation.
