Chapter 103 - The New Elites

Jin, Mia, Ken, Akito, and Rukia walked past the castle gates, accompanied by royal guards, as they headed towards the royal castle. Jin and the others were called to the King's Palace for a small ceremony to honor and officially declare the young soldiers as Elites.

Normally this would happen in Mikan Katsura's office, as she was supposed to be the one to declare them as elites in the place of the head of the Sukunaku. But for some reason, they were summoned by the King for this to occur in his throneroom, in the presence of honorable delegates, nobles, and senators.

Jin wondered what exactly it was that the princess had told the king for him to honor them this way. After passing one gate after the other, they walked past the royal garden, heading straight towards the entrance of the palace, guarded by a large gate that slowly opened on the sound of a trumpet.
