The next day we all went out shopping so they can officially take me around the city so I know where im at. The people were all around the stone and wood cabins all over the place.
"Come, look at this spot Rylla!!" Ajax, my now younger brother, points to a clearing of buildings and trees. It was plain and had signs not allowing any human activity on it, calling it a "Wildlife spot." You could only walk on the path with wood rigidity fences going across it.
"Whoa, what a cool spot you have, Ajax!" My face lit up with excitement. Once you look up on the clearing, you see a huge stone castle with beautiful stone buildings surrounding it all going uphill. The castle had beautiful red roofs and golden tips on top of them. The huge colored glass windows looked amazing to look at. It was a sight to stare at for sure.
I thought to myself that it seemed the closer you get to the middle of the city where the castle is, the richer you get and nicer it is. The point where we are located is near the outside walls of the city. All of a sudden, loud bells rang from a church and there was a massive rush of people coming from buildings. It got completely cramped and hard to navigate.
"Everyone, make sure you stay close to each other so we don't get lost!" Leum told us that like it has happened before. She glared at her husband Radan as he looked away, embarrassed.
It was pretty crowded, as we had to push through people to get to the shops we wanted to. I was still able to see the beautiful marble fountains, shops with enchanted armor and weapons that were radiating blue and purple mana. There were even street performers doing many things like shooting arrows at people taped to wood, barely missing them. Radan jokingly called it shooting practice.
Leum took my clothes shopping at some fancy-looking places with shiny and brightly colored clothes in it. There was also jewelry that she bought me that seemed to be pretty nice.
"Are these diamonds?" I looked at her with eyes full of curiosity.
"Yep! Anything for you, just tell me and bring it to the counter." She seemed to be buying nice tuxedos for Rudan and Ajex, so she wasn't looking at me when she said that.
My mind just recognizes this new feeling of greed? Happiness? I don't know, but my mind can tell that I am truly being loved by someone like never before. I know my parents never showed me what this feeling is. They were always catering to my other brother and sister while constantly telling me to go away. So this feeling just makes me so happy. I smile brightly as my hand reaches out for clothes.
"Are you ready to go now?" She looked at me as she was handing the woman at the counter gold coins.
"Yep!" I'm so happy right now I could pass out. My mind would always wonder how my sister and brother felt being told they could buy whatever they want.
Then we were walking and came across another grand building. It was not as near as big as the castle, probably about triple the size of the normal cabin house. They made this building of stone and wood. Its large stone chimney and general size made it stand out from the other houses. It had a big gold symbol with an eagle and a sword on it and a sign saying the "Kolan Guild hall."
