Green stone necklace

In a panic he called out "Mum, mother…" He shouted slowly, a moment later his mother came from inside the house. The second she was outside the house her eyes looked at her son, who was in a prone position facing a poisonous snake. The woman was surprised as she covered her mouth with both hands.

"Don't move Chepa" she said as she paced restlessly, she looked around to look for help. But nobody was nearby.

"Mother..." Chepa called softly.

"Wait a minute" said his mother while looking around looking for something that could repel the snake.

Not far from where he fell, Chepa saw in front of him a green stone, as big as the grip of his palms. Slowly his hand moved to reach the stone. Eyes fixed on the snake in front of him. When the stone was in his hand, Chepa quickly threw the stone at the snake and hit his head. The snake's head flung to the right, the snake hissed and writhed for a moment then crawled away.

Seeing the incident, and her son was safe, the mother ran to her son and hugged him tightly. "Chepa" called his mother between her arms. Her eyes fell on the green stone, she picked it up, gripped it firmly in the palm of her hand. His mother let go of her hug and said "this stone, this stone has saved you Chepa, this stone is a protector for you" she said while feeling grateful her son survived death.

At night, in a house built with clay, it is enough to avoid the rain and the scorching sun. Chepa was sitting at the dining table finishing his meal. His mother had emerged from the next room holding the green stone in her hand this afternoon, but now there was a wire coiled around the edge of the green stone with a rope tied to the end of the wire. She walked over to him.

"Chepa from now on this stone will always protect you, as well as when mother is no longer in this world, don't you ever let it go," said his mother as she put the necklace around his neck.

Chepa who did not understand the meaning of his mother's words still answered nonchalantly "yes"

Done with the necklace. His mother hugged Chepa tightly.

Again, the vortex of space filled the air. Seconds later, Nhamso was on the road, where she found the stone. The street much more people were passing, an old man with a long beard to his chest, dressed in gray was passing in front of her. The old man was not careful that make he fell and tripped over a rock. Other people who were passing helped the old man up, luckily the old man was fine with any scratch in his body. The old man and other people who had helped him exchanged thank you. After that the two walked away. Unbeknownst to the old man, the green stone necklace slipped from his neck and fell on the road.

Arriving at the foot of the mountain at his house, the old man just realized that the necklace stone was missing. He searched the whole house but couldn't find it. He left the house and walked along the road he had passed and couldn't find it. The old man sadly returned to his house. Sitting by the riverbank, looking up at the sky for a while and then saying "Mother, I've lost the necklace you gave me, I'm sorry mother, the stone is the only valuable item you gave me. I've tried looking for it but couldn't find it. I'm sorry Mother" the old man tears flowed out and wet his cheeks which were wrinkled by his old age.

"Hi Nhamso, Nhamso..."

Nhamso came to her senses, blinked a few times. Looking around, she has now returned to reality. Her breath was panting, her hand still gripping the green stone necklace.

"Nhamso are you okay." A woman shook her body thinking she wasn't awake.

Nhamso saw the woman in front of her and she recognized the woman "Ah yes, I'm okay Mapo" she said to her friend.

"What's happen with you? I called you several times, but you didn't answer, your eyes were open, but you looked blank" Mapo asked worriedly to her.

Nhamso still remembered what she had just seen. Remembered the old man who was sad to lose his valuables on the road. she glanced at Mapo, held her shoulder and said "Mapo, I have something to do, tell mom I'm just going away for a while and will be back soon" her words became more of a scream because while saying she walked away and ran away from her friend.

'Nhamso.... "Call Mapo but she is out of sight.

Nhamso followed the past path from the memory she saw just now. Which she was sure would take her to the old man. After walking far enough, now she is in a green meadow, the air that enters through her nose, down into her throat cavity feels refreshing, the smell of green grass is distinctive, in front there is a mountain standing proudly like a knight. she was born and lived in the city of Lais but never knew there was a place as beautiful as this, because she had never left the city of Lais so far like this.

The day is still bright, the sun provides warmth in the cold air. In front of her was a house, just like what she saw in her vision, the house was small, enough for two to three people to live in. The building is not much different from the buildings in the city of Lais in general. Standing from a layer of clay, a fence that surrounds the house inside, completely closing up to the four corners of the house.

Nhamso looked at the riverbank, which was exactly what she saw in her vision. It turned out that in her vision he was still on the riverbank. Sitting prostrate, eyes leak the river. She doesn't know what he saw. She approached with steady step, her light steps breaking the wild grass, her heart racing. She paused, considering what she was doing. What if she misunderstood what she saw earlier? What if the old man looks the same from behind but in front of him is someone else?

Her surprise made her doubts disappear in the blink of an eye, as the old man looked back and looked around. She decided to continue her steps and approached the old man. The old man smiled a little, still plastered on his sad face. Those gentle eyes made her feel close, like a father with a child.

Nhamso put her hand in the back of her shirt. Looking for stone the size of the palm of her hand. Seconds later she brought out a green stone necklace. She hesitated to show it to the old man, but her affection was much greater so that the old man would no longer be sad because the precious thing he was looking for was with her. She stretched out her hand in front of the old man, then opened her grip.
