"I'm doing great. Thank you, sir." Dan says.

"Haha. Are you excited?" Jack asks.

"Yes. I am. And, sir, it's my pleasure to have a guy like you to coach me. I'm looking forward to working with you." Dan says.

The manager and the player shake hands with each other. The glorying future seems to emerge in the room. "Jack is a cool guy, you will learn many things from him, also he is going to make you become a great player." Says Paul.

"Yeah. I bet." Dan smiles.

Dan talks to these two men and tries to learn information from them as much as he can to get ready for the coming challenges. While they are talking, a man knocks on the door and walks in. "Boss, do you have a second? Can I talk to you?" The man says.

Dan turns to see the man. He stares at him and can't believe what he's seeing. It's Ian Miller, the man who got him into baseball. Dan grew up watching him play baseball, looking up to the guy and even imitated his pitching motion when he was a kid.

"Oh my god! Are you Ian? I can't believe it! A legend is standing in front of me." Dan says it to Ian with excitement in his voice. "You are the reason I became a pitcher. I can't believe you're right in front of me!! Oh my god!! It's like a dream comes true." The boy turns into a crazy fan from a pro athlete in less than a second.

"Uh…thanks…and you are?" asks Ian. He looks at the kid in front of him, feeling confused.

Paul looks at them and speaks. "Hey, Ian, sorry for the kid and the confusion. Since you are here, I would like to introduce Dan to you. This is Dan. He's our first-round draft this year." Paul says.

He looks at the crazy fan who's also his future teammate, "Oh, I see. You are the boy." Ian approaches Dan, offering his hand to him. "What's up? Dan." Ian says. They shake hands, then Ian continues to talk, "Wow, what a beautiful thing. It's awesome to have a young fan become your teammate. I'm Ian and I am sure you know who I am already. Nice to meet you. Welcome to the club."

"Wow…I can't believe it's happening." Dan says.

"It is now. So get used to it." Paul looks at the funny scene in front of him and laughs.

Ian and Dan begin their conversation right away, Dan keeps telling Ian how much he admires the greatest Fighter ever and how he influenced him in his life and so on, Ian looks the boy in the eyes, smiles, and listens. However, Dan's joy doesn't last for long, Jack interrupts them, "Dan. Sorry to interrupt, Ian… what brought you here?" and asks.

Ian turns to Jack and speaks. "Oh, I almost forgot. I want to talk about our team's performance lately. I mean…we have been losing for eight straight games, but I am not feeling everyone is taking that seriously. I believe you have to talk to them."

Paul notices that Jack and Ian are having something important to talk about ,so he turns to Dan and decides to send him to be with his family. He approaches Dan and taps his shoulder, "It seems like they're having a serious conversation. Would you like to leave and go to your family?"

Dan glances at Jack and Ian then looks back to Paul. He looks at him and nods; he knows it isn't a right moment to stay in the office, "Okay. He then shakes hands with both of them and walks out of the office with Paul.

On the way to Dan's family, Paul explains to Dan how they are going to arrange him. In October, they will send him to the MLB camp in Taiwan with other rookies. He will see his new teammates over there. MLB camp is a camp where FBL cooperates with Major League Baseball organizations. Dan will have to stay there for one months. It's the place for him to improve his skills and be ready for the coming spring training. For the next season, the organization wants him to start with the TBL (Talent Baseball League). They value him a lot and don't want to make any rush.

Talent Baseball League (TBL) is the minor league of the FBL. Each team in the FBL has a 26-men roster and a 60-men roster as the maximum number of players. Players in the 26-men roster play in the FBL and the rest of them go to the TBL. The TBL is a place for those talented players to wait for their opportunities to go to the FBL. There are nine teams in the FBL, Baku Fighters, Osaka Owls, Kelowna Griffin, Amsterdam Sharks, London Eagles, Brussels lightning, Paris Bears, Sydney Unicorns and Berlin Shields. Baku Fighters have the Victoria Dreamers as their minor team in the TBL.
