"You're his huge fan, aren't you?" He chuckles. "I don't know. Haven't seen that yet. We will see." Dan shrugs, and he looks back to the field. "Hold on. Is he a lefty?" A question comes up to him, Dan watches Matt's swings and spots something unusual to him, he turns to Josh and asks.

Josh stares at Dan and doesn't understand why he asks him the question. "I don't know." He points at Matt, "Why would you ask that? See? He's in the righty's box. I would say he's right-handed." and gives Dan his answer.

"Yeah. I see that. But…I saw him throw with his left arm." Dan shakes his head, "It doesn't make sense. Why would he be a lefty and bat in the righty's box?"

"What? Why is that difficult to understand? It's rare, but some people are like that." Josh shrugs, "Like…Uh…" He tries to recall some names, "Oh, I got it. Like Randy Johnson, and…Madison Bumgarner. You know? Those great pitchers in the US."

"Yup. I know them. But they're pitchers, I haven't seen any fielder like him. I mean," Dan takes a pause, "I have never seen someone play baseball like those around me. I only saw this kind of player on TV."

"Oh, Ok…Now here's one waiting for you to meet." Josh points at Matt.

"That's not the point. It's more about…" Dan tries to come up with the right word to say, "I don't quite get why someone would choose to bat in the righty's box when they're lefty. Doesn't being a lefty batter have more advantages in baseball?"

"Not sure. We don't know if he's righty or lefty yet."

"Ok. Good point." Dan nods, "And there's another possibility that…He's a righty, but he chose to use his left arm to throw."

"Why would he do that?"

"I don't know." Dan says.

Josh looks away from Dan and stares at Matt. "Ok, I'm confused now. Is he lefty or righty?" He is confused by Dan's question.

"There's only one way to find out. We have to ask him to solve the puzzle." Dan says. Two of them keep talking and leave the job of collecting balls to others. A couple minutes pass during their conversation.

Shortly, the first day has reached the end. The first day of the camp ends with the batting practice, and the coaches ask all the players to return the balls they carry and put the cages back to where they came from. It's the first day. After all these works are done, they are allowed to leave. The boys have everything done then start leaving. The Fighters players go back to the hotel and head straight to their individual rooms. The training was only for three hours, but it's hard enough for the rookies. They are exhausted and act like zombies.

On the night of the first day of the training camp, Dan has something interesting to figure out. He chills in his room with Josh and Matt. Three of them sit on the bed playing poker and talking. "God damn it!!" Matt grunts, "I can't believe I lost again."

"Yeah…You're truly bad at playing poker." Josh laughs.

"Shut up…"

"You're so lame." Dan smiles.

"You, too. Shut your mouth." Matt glances at Dan.

"Haha. Hey, Matt?" Dan stares at him.

"What is it?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Nope."

"Hey. Come on."

"Are you teasing me?"

"Wow, hey. That was childish. Don't be silly." says Josh.

Matt sighs, "Whatever. What do you want?"
