Issue #2

[Stella. Not gonna be back tonight. Lots of crazy stuff is going on my end.] Jack text his future daughter

[Most of the adults aren't. Storm has been left in charge. I'm heading off with Mum to help her with business matters, the X-Men are dealing with the Shi'ar, and the Professor just went somewhere. Didn't really say where.] The young woman quickly responded

'He has gone somewhere without telling anyone where? Even if he goes to visit Magneto, he usually tells someone. Guess that means he is with Tony's boy band.'

Jack stopped thinking about the Professor before heading back to Earth and grabbing some of his cloning technology. He brought it back to Eden before putting it deep inside of Krakoa.

The plan was to not only turn Krakoa into a secret lab for himself but also allow the island to feed off the spare clones he kept within. Although he couldn't feed it immediately, Krakoa was more than happy to have this arrangement. This meant he could eat his fill without the worry of killing his victims.

{It will take some time for mutants to develop but can you release the 4 you have inside for now.}

{##@%$#@$ %$$#@$% %^$$$#}

The living island began to open up before the bodies of the 4 mutants were brought out with vines. The two young women had scars from the injuries they sustained during their fight with Krakoa. The one with darker skin had a deep scar around her midriff from when she was almost bisected. The other young woman had severe burns on her entire back.

Jack was planning to awaken the 4 mutants but he first wanted to get a better understanding of the situation. So he began to dig through their minds until he understood all of the relevant details.

While all of them were mutants that Moira Mactaggert had watched over after going through a difficult time, one of these 4 had a special identity. He was Scott and Alex's youngest brother. But that wasn't the juiciest detail that he had gotten.

These 4 were not just sent to rescue the original X-Men. They were sent on a suicide mission.

The Professor did the same thing Emma did to him when he first arrived, he used telepathy to train the young mutants in how to use their powers and work together as a team. But their training was much more rushed.

While Jack was given weeks, they were given hours. All that information was forced into their brains but they didn't know that. They thought it was all real.

So when they were sent to the island, their minds had the experience but their bodies didn't. Their bodies didn't move the way they thought they would. The strain their powers caused was greater than expected.

The mission was doomed before it even began.

But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was, that they were abandoned there. They had risked their lives to save the original X-Men, but they were left to die on the island after saving Scott. The man had even left his own brother behind.

'Scott's an asshole. The biggest douche I have ever met. But he isn't that evil. Especially back then. Scott used to be rash and headstrong. He would never abandon someone. So that just leaves one possibility.'

As much as he thought about it, Jack still knew he couldn't put the final nail in the coffin yet. He had to confirm the truth. But the first thing he had to do was wake these 4 up.

The 4 young mutants began to come to after a few moments. Most of them began to panic and struggle.

{Calm down. Relax. You all are safe now.} Jack said to them while also forcefully calming their emotions.

While he was usually fine with allowing people to express themselves how they wish, he couldn't be so lenient with this group. 1 of them was a confirmed Omega-Level mutant while the others were possible Omega-Levels.

If they went wild because they couldn't control their emotions, they could hurt Krakoa and destroy parts of Eden.

Sway was the first person to calm down. Her civilian name was Suzanne Chan. She was a mutant with Chronokenetic abilities.

The next was Darwin. His real name was also Armando Muñoz. His power was superior adaptation which in normal people's terms meant that he doesn't die. (Fuck you, Fox!) His body would naturally adapt powers or abilities that would allow him to survive in any situation. He was the immortal mortal.

Then there was Petra. Unlike the others, she was not very creative and her actual name suited her powers. Petra had geokinesis and could use it to great degrees. She could potentially be on Magneto's level if she was able to train for long enough.

The last person was the last of the Summers Brothers, Gabriel. His code name was Kid Vulcan but with him now being in his mid-20s after having 10 years pass, Jack was pretty sure the name didn't fit him. He was the confirmed Omega-Level mutant and could manipulate pretty much any form of energy.

With all of them calm, Jack began to explain the situation for them from a neutral perspective. What happened, how long it had been, his plans for Utopia.

He gave them all the information he could so they could make an informed decision. Something that the Professor did not do.

"I want you all to know that you have a choice. So what do you all think?"

Petra raised her hand for a moment before knocking herself on the head playfully.

"Sorry. I forget that I'm not 14 anymore. What if we don't choose to join you? What will happen to us?"

Jack smiled as he sensed the girl's worry. All of their worry. They had already been burned once. They didn't want to be betrayed once again.

"Then you all will be allowed to do as you please. Since you are not under me, you don't have to follow my commands. But I would ask you, as the founder of this place, that you keep it a secret. I want to give this place a fighting chance before the outside world tries to tear it down."

The 4 nodded before looking at one another. During their time together, they began to understand each other a great deal. They came to a silent understanding even without using telepathy.

"We're in," Gabriel said with a smile.
