One Shot: The White Queen and First Consort

(Slightly shorter chapter cause I just wanted to introduce these two getting along, will release another one later today)

At the same time that Jack was talking with Natasha on the phone, the two women they were talking about were sitting together and having tea.

Emma looked Anna-Marie/Rogue up and down while sipping her tea as she thought about what the woman had just asked her.

"So just so I am clear: you're asking me for permission to date my fiance? Is that correct?"

"That's right. Ah've heard about your... arrangement with each other but wanted to get your permission first before ah start pursuing Jack. My pride as a woman will not allow me to just go after him, even if I know it is fine between the two of you," Rogue explained why she came to Emma first

"And you wish to get into a relationship with him just because you can touch him without fear?" Emma questioned. She was fine if another woman was interested in Jack but didn't want him to just be used as a tool.

Rogue shook her head when she heard Emma ask this.

"Never! Ah could never be with someone just because ah could touch them. If ah wanted someone that I could just touch, I could settle with someone like Apocalypse or one of those other powerful villains.

Ah'm interested in Jack because he is kind and sweet. Sure me being able to touch him was the final push but the most important thing to me is that ah actually like the man."

Emma wanted to smile when she heard Rogue complementing her man but maintained her poker face. Not letting the other side know how happy you were was the most vital part of negotiations.

"And what benefits would you bring to the table? Why should I share my man and get nothing in return?"

Emma continued her assault. Rogue was no longer as flustered. After sorting out her feelings for Jack, she was confident in every response. She also knew that Emma was simply testing her in order to ensure that she was being sincere.

"After we get married, ah can help with the nightly activities," Rogue smirked as she gave her answer. "Ah've heard from your daughters and the others on this hall that he must be wearing you out."

Emma started coughing as she choked on her tea. Jack told her that he had been using magic to keep the sound isolated but that was not true apparently.

'Hmm. Well, you may no longer have a man to be interested in because I might just murder him tonight.'

Emma began thinking how quickly she could get some god-killing weapons delivered to her. But that was the second most important thing at the moment.

"Only after you are married? You will leave the burden of keeping him satisfied to me alone?"

"Of course. I'm a proper southern woman. I was raised to wait until after marriage before I consummate a relationship. Although I don't judge others on how they live, I also ask for them to respect how I live." Rogue replied while picking up a mini-cake and taking a bite of it.

"I can respect that," Emma admitted. She would silently judge Rogue but never aloud. But she did that with everyone. "Well, you have my permission to go after him. As to whether he takes an interest in you or whatever happens after, that is up to you."

Emma lifted her cup towards Rogue. The latter brought her cup up as well and the pair met with a light *cling*.

The rest of the tea party between the pair was quite pleasant. Emma used it as an opportunity to get to know Rogue better while Rogue used it as a chance to learn more about Jack.

Although she could be considered his friend, she was more curious about some of the other parts that all of his friends didn't know about. And Emma was more than glad to share some of Jack's more embarrassing moments that other people didn't know about.

Emma had such a good time with Rogue that after the tea party was over, she invited her out to dinner which Rogue gladly accepted. Emma sent Jack a text before the pair of women left the mansion to have dinner at one of Emma's favorite restaurants.
