It's more than just curiosity

Max's car entered his garage casually. After parking, Max gets out of the car while carrying the blush he picked up from Jam's place.

As he climbed the stairs to get to the first floor of his house, Max remembered Draft, the fight scene, the area where the fight was, and the weapon used by Draft until the victim's final expression repeated itself in his mind.

That thing shouldn't be here. It looks like there's a hunt. His mind became tense. Max's steps stopped when he opened the door. He thought about it again. I don't think there's anything wrong. Including Elijah's attitude last night

Max then dwelled on his conjecture until the blush on his hand resuscitated him. He saw the sun all the time. He thought Elijah must have been sleeping or had instead waited with mounting anger.

Max dashed in, not forgetting to grab the bra that Elijah had carelessly released the night before. He opened the door of the room where Elijah was. He stopped at the door for a while to enjoy the view he saw.

"Max!"

"I'm older than you; can you be more polite?"

"Fuck You!!"

"You should have used sweeter language."

Max approached Elijah, who appeared to be shivering.

Max laughed when he heard Elijah growl. In his eyes, Elijah looked sweeter when angry. He tossed a blush and bra into Elijah's upper body, covering a portion of her breasts. Then he opened the rope that restrained Elia and said, "I hope you learn a lesson."

Max knew Elijah wasn't listening. He chuckled as Elijah ran to the restroom.

Max went down to the first floor. He started making coffee. As the smell of coffee rises to the surface, Max recalls his conversations with Jam and his encounters with Draft. He then took the phone out of his pocket to make sure no one had contacted him since last night. There was no missed phone call. Max turned his head when he heard Elijah's footsteps approaching. He was relieved she was wearing her blush and bra again.

Without being told, Elijah sat in front of him. The open, minimalist kitchen always makes it easier for him to entertain guests.

Max brews coffee for two. He placed a glass in front of Elijah, who looked embarrassed. He smiled.

"I think she already knew her mistake," thought Max while enjoying the smell of coffee and deciding not to mention the incident a few hours ago.

"Want toast?" Max offered Elijah while putting her coffee cup on the table.

Elijah nodded.

Within a minute, they had enjoyed breakfast. Elijah's wrist had bond marks that were clearly visible in Max's eyes. He also noticed similar marks on both of Elijah's ankles.

"I wouldn't do it again without your permission," he said.

"I didn't mind at first, but when you just left, "I was really upset."

"Why are you following the words of Jam?"

"I'm not following his words; it's my own initiative."

"What did he tell you?"

"Not much, he's just alluding to your taste and how you test every woman who registers herself underground."

"About your desire to go underground... I've been thinking about it."

Elijah seemed excited.

"Do you agree?"

"No."

"If it's about you having promised my mother not to take me underground, you've kept that promise," Elijah said.

Max was taken aback when Elijah discovered what was on his mind.

"It's my own wish; you didn't break a single promise to my mother," Elijah said with a pleading face. "I wonder why she chose that place over me."

"If it's just to answer your curiosity, you don't need to be part of the underground," Max asserted.

"I'm sure you already know how they found my mother." "It's more than just curiosity, Max," Elia said in a quivering voice that made Max's heart ripple.

Elijah's attitude made Max remember Bibi, who was also persistent if she wanted something.

"The authorities are investigating the case; you will soon know who did it."

"Do you still believe in the laws of this country?" I can't believe you're going to believe it.Someone like you?!"

"Max, with tattoos alone, you won't be able to live! In fact, now you have many properties, mansions, stock assets, and much more wealth that you can save. Where did it all come from? Your main business is not tattoos! "You're doing illegal work!"

"And my mother!" She's just like you! She has property in other countries and claims to be only in the clothing business, designer!?Do you think no one's going to tell me? "When I was a kid, my mother could lie, but I could find out everything by myself!"

"All my life, all I remember is her traveling for the job!""Then go home with treasure, gold, and diamonds and deposit them in my name in a bank; I should be happy, but..."Elijah held her breath and her tears. "She took me abroad, and I thought we were going to start a new life." when I wake up. She left without a word. "Why would she take me there if she finally went back to the underground?"

"Someone told me to go to the autopsy department!"

Max realized something. That's what bothered his mind.

"Someone called you?"

Max was surprised. "Wasn't I the only one who knew your addresses and phone numbers abroad?"

"Oh, my God!"

"Why did you come to that place alone?"

"A... I... I didn't have time to think about anything else!"

Max was thankful that nothing had happened to Elijah until she reached his house safely. But is that really it?

Max remembered Draft slaughtering someone in a neutral area on the path leading to his home.

Meanwhile, Elijah feels the terror behind Max's sudden change of attitude.

"Max?" Elia asks in horror.

"What's really going on?"

Elijah tremble.
