Bad News from Rang Rang

Rang Rang was surprised twice.

First, surprised because Max stopped suddenly and made the orchids tremble.

Second, Max displayed that expression all of a sudden. Some Rang Rang coughed. Many of them were silent.

"I think the human world teaches you a lot," one Rang-Rang opened the voice. Max was clumsy because of it. The situation returned to normal when the beautiful Rang Rang appeared in front of Max.

"Starting from me. My name is Xixi, the leader of the Rang Rang White Wind from the South. Respectfully say welcome our Young Master, Matsyendra," Xixi spoke politely.

The pose by Xixi and the group made Max remember his identity and at the same time could see the shape of Rang Rang wings from the White Wind group dominated by soft white colors. They look very weak, but not as they seem, their wings are very strong. Members of Xixi's group marched backward. Their number reached millions of Rang Rang. They bowed respectfully to Max. Moments later, they were replaced by a Rang Rang Blue. When the Rang Rang White Wind Group dispersed, they looked like the froth of the waves in the ocean.

"My Name is Koko, the leader of the Blue Wind Group of the West. With all due respect, welcome young master," Koko and his Blue Wind Group paid the same tribute as Xixi did. After giving greetings, they also gave space to the other group.

"Welcome Young Master, My Name is Terice, the leader of the East Winds Group, happy to meet you again. Sorry since we missed," Terice and her East Winds group gave a sign of respect to Max. Terice has been the one who has been talking to Max since. In such a formal situation, their attitude turned polite.

The last group to salute was the North Winds Group. Rang Rang's face from the North Winds group was firm, it seemed like she also rarely jokes.

"Merah, the Leader of the North Winds Group. I have something to tell you, Young Master. I'm glad you answered my call immediately. I'm the one trying to talk to you during your time in the human world."

Merah reaffirms Max's identity.

Yes, this is another reason why I have to come here. They couldn't show up in B'tavia because of the rule of the limit of three worlds. I got a Merah message when I saw the lights on the front door of the Jam Bar that night. The lamp glowed strangely, forming the symbol of the North Winds group. Max's memory took him to a moment ago as he entered the Jam Bar. Before entering, he hears the sound of the leader of Rang Rang North Winds, Merah.

Max noticed the North Winds group gathered. Meanwhile, the other Rang Rang group was around them. The gathering looked like the petals of a rose blooming.

"You can tell me now what you need to tell me," Max showed his leadership.

Merah lowered her head, while Max prepared for the bad news.

" The trees in the Northernmost Forest have been burned," Merah said.

This beginning has made the other Rang Rang sad. Max noticed them, all Rang Rang must have known this. They seemed to have agreed to wait for the right time to talk to me. His heart became uncomfortable when he heard their reports and attitudes.

Merah continued, "Because of that, the animals ran around and most of them entered the Forbidden Forest area. We didn't dare go there to save them. But we are worried, that those who are innocent turn into ferocious creatures as they absorb the negative energy from the Forbidden Forest. We regret not being able to direct them to the Sacred Mountain Forest because man-made fire is blocking us," the guilt appeared on Merah's face, tears dripping from her and her group members. It triggered tears from the other Rang Rang. Therefore, Max's surroundings suddenly turned into a small, colorful drizzle.

"Calm down," Max said softly. He sat down on the little hill. Still, with his half-demon formation, he said softly, "Now tell me more details, through the Forbidden Forest, which part, where they entered," Max, spoke softly, but his face was filled with determination.

"You're going to save them?" Merah is gobsmacked.

"Forbidden Forest can not only make them violent, but it can also be the target of human hunting, I don't want them to end up in circus cages or be fine dining."

There was a short cry from the Rang Rang.

"We've heard of it, so it's real?" Merah shaking.

Max realizes he has been wrong, conveying too much information can lead to a mental imbalance in his precious little creatures. He decided to quickly treat their concerns.

"Merah, you must be observing which area they're in isn't it?"

Merah nodded.

"Since it was a few days ago, they might have spread too far. If I can, I'll come to help."

"No," Max shook his head. "That's dangerous for you. That place can also affect you."

"What about you? You could also be in danger," was Terace's voice suddenly worrying Max.

Max smiled. "Have you forgotten who I am?"

"But..." Terace is increasingly like a parent who does not want their child to enter a dangerous area despite knowing her child can survive and face the danger.

"You will be back with them, right?" Merah confirmed an appointment.

Max knew how precious the animals were to the Rang Rang Community. They are friends. It's like half their soul. Especially Merah who led the North Winds, meaning she was also guarding the Northernmost Forest. The beloved ones living there are in danger right now, Merah may feel she has failed to do her job. For now, Max doesn't want Merah to turn into a dangerous element later for the universe, so he needs to swiftly balance Merah's emotions, and the only way to apply in this situation is that if he can't save everything, he should be able to bring as many of Merah's beloved animals to safety as possible.

"Well, which area is their entrance?"

"Most of it goes through the Crazy Bamboo Forest. In a short time, they can lose sanity and then become vicious," Merah said.

Max has caught the point and it's unpleasant.

"What are you going to do?" Koko asked. "We feel useless if we can't help. We also feel useless because we are so weak in the face of man-made fire."

Max knows very well the limits of Rang-Rang.

"Every living thing has weaknesses. You don't have to blame yourself."

"Then do we just have to wait for you to return from the Forbidden Forest? Is there nothing we can do to help?" Koko snobs in front of Max's nose.

Max thought. He knew it was impossible to make Rang Rang follow him until the Forbidden Forest. Their strength could be instantly crippled if it entered that forest.

"We knew if we entered the forest our strength could be instantly paralyzed, but... Is there nothing we can do?" Xixi voiced Max's thoughts.

At that moment Merah's tears grew louder. Terice approached her and hugged her. Merah spoke softly with deep guilt, "I'm sorry, I failed to warn them."

Their brotherhood stunned Max. Max finally made a decision.

"How about you guys help me keep these things?"

Max lowered the carrier bag on his back. He opened and showed the contents to Rang Rang. Those who had been busy calming Merah were then attracted to Max's request. Merah also quickly stopped crying.

"With your help, I can save time. I have to keep all this. If I go first to the storage it will take more time and the opportunity to save your beloved will be diminished," Max explained his intentions carefully.

Rang Rang looked at each other. They can recognize the objects in the bag are not indiscriminate objects.

"I understand!" Terice exclaimed.

"If we were the ones taking care of the heirlooms, you could go now to the Forbidden Forest and the chance to save our beloved was also higher, right?"

Max nodded.

"Then, what else are you waiting for, guys? Let's take the heirlooms and take them to their respective places. We have to go in groups because we can't bring one thing alone!"

Terice suddenly turned into coordinator for all Rang Rang. Starting from Terice's invitation, the others immediately understood the importance of cooperation between them.

"Wait! Before that, I thought there was something we could do for him guys," Merah flew in front of Max.

"Let me and my friends give you our directional powder," Merah said.

"Right! with that, you can easily find your way back to the Sacred Mountain from Forbidden Forest at any point later," Terice chimed in.

Without waiting for Max's approval, Terice invites her friends to collect their powder. Seeing their sincere support, Max did not refuse. After all, it's easy to get lost.

"All right, put your powder here."

Max pulled out a small bag from his carrier bag. The bag is one of the heirloom objects, serving specifically to store magical powder. At that time, the bag was empty, so it could be used. Max was astonished by the coincidence that was going on at the time.

Bibi can collect strange objects that are now very useful. Did she just find it a coincidence? At that time, she said to buy this thing in the antique market, the price was very cheap. Max smiled recalling one of his memories with Bibi and at the same time, he was also proud of Rang Rang's sincerity.

"Hopefully this is helpful enough," Merah said as she handed back a green bag with a golden strap to Max.

"Definitely," Max said as he kept it in his carrier bag again.

"Well, now, take them to the storage area," Max said in a tone asking for help.

Merah nodded warmly. She took an heirloom, as did the others. Millions of Rang Rang are now seen divided into groups based on the objects they carry.

"I have to go north, you guys can go first," Max asked.

"We'll see you go first," said Terice, holding a skewer.

Max smiled.

"Alright, you guys ... be careful."

After saying so, Max used full speed towards the north. He clenched his jaw until it hardened. His mind wondered, "What else did humans want, why burn the forest? Are they not satisfied with the land they own? They continue to take away natural resources, don't they realize that the balance of the universe is faltering?"
