Killing Humans Is Meaningless

Max clenched his fists and took a deep breath.

"Killing people is meaningless at the moment," he said to his heart.

"My main goal is not to finish them off, Rang Rang's beloved is much more important, without them the Garden of Eden can also be destroyed. They are also the key to balance. I had to hurry up and immediately return to Melianor. I think seeking answers to Bibi's death will connect me to this whole chain of incongruities. In the past, no human being set foot here, now since the sacred man does not exist, rotten people are free to roam. I'd better take care of them later."

Max took another breath. For the last time, he scanned the entire area of the rub. Max expressed his eyes once more. He saw some heavy equipment in a corner. There is also a tenement made of tarpaulin, wood, and zinc, where workers rest. Max growls, but he soon remembers his goal. Rang Rang's beloved should take precedence.

Max stared at the crazy bamboo heap in the hills across the hill across the charred land. He had to pass through the burnt field that stretched hundreds of hectares in front of him to get to the Crazy Bamboo Forest, but he couldn't cross directly. Such an open land would make it visible to humans. He doesn't want to cause a stir when he's half-human.

A short human mind will add complexity. Returning to human form and crossing would probably be safe. People would think of him as a mad climber, but there was no guarantee he wouldn't be restrained by the humans who saw him and interfered with his affairs.

After considering several possibilities, he then chose a detour towards the southeast to get to the Crazy Bamboo Forest.

The sunlight had already disappeared as Max stood in front of the Crazy Bamboo Forest. The name of the crazy bamboo forest because it consists of gray bamboo plants from stems to leaves. Their shoots intertwined and ducked, like woven rattan, thus blocking anyone standing under it from seeing the sky. It also made the land in the Crazy Bamboo Forest irradiated by the sun. When there is a wind blowing, they like to move, shift, and make a voice like women who are mocking each other. Not to mention if the fog drops.

Max looked back, apparently, humans still had a fear of this area, or were they just looking for a way to destroy it? But I don't think it's going to be easy. The fog would drive them crazy first before touching a single bamboo stick.

Max then focused on identifying the traces of Rang Rang's favorites. There was a fairly clear trace of how they broke through the bamboo plants. The trails left behind also explain how they tried to avoid the fire and stay alive. Meanwhile, when viewed from the density of bamboo, they couldn't break through the bamboo kitchen easily.

"They must have paved the way for the animals," Max thought. "In that case, I can ask him first."

Max touched one of the bamboo sticks. Then he walked a few meters into the Crazy Bamboo Forest. He had to be careful when entering it because the bamboo was also inhabited by certain creatures. They keep an eye between the humidity of the air and the density of bamboo stems. Max's sharp hearing allowed him to hear the snake's hiss.

"These snakes would soon kill humans if they dared to disturb their dwellings," Max said in his mind.

In front of the red-ringed black bamboo kitchen, Max stopped. He put his left knee to the ground, the elbow of his right arm leaned against the right knee, then the palm of his left hand touched the ground. His palms felt the moisture of the ground surface filled with hummus and rotting bamboo leaves. The surface was a little watery, yet that was what the creatures were looking for.

"I'm sorry for arriving late, I came to bring them back," Max said to a snake that looked out of his cave under a bamboo grove with the red-ringed stems. He responded to the aura that knocked on his door.

A snake with a black body with a glowing red ring on its body moves out of the nest. The snake had golden eyes.

"You and the other residents have paved the way for them, otherwise the Crazy Bamboo wouldn't have been passable by them, therefore I came to thank you and at the same time to pick them up," Max spoke politely with the snake.

The snake hissed.

"They almost died baked! They were roasted alive! What are you doing in the human world? Be a part of them?! You forgot your position in this forest!"

Max couldn't avoid the snake's anger. He gulped. It's not easy to explain the situation, especially in front of an angry snake. Only one hope, the snake didn't curse him.

The snake surrounded Max who was still in his position.

"If one day they dare to touch this place, I will make sure they suffer from seven derivatives," whispered the snake.

Max didn't argue. He remembers karma. For him, the man had also exceeded the limits of reasonableness in exploiting the forest, so if The Wave finally agreed to lower the collective karma on them, he could do nothing either. However, before that happened, he hoped to do something and contain the impact.

"You came to save them?"

Max nodded. Finally, the snake spoke more gently, but the softness felt haunted.

"Go ahead, if you can," the snake hissed sharply and then went back into its cave.

Max took a breath. He understood the meaning of the snake's words.

"Mr. Hermit! What should I do to regain consciousness?" Max talked to the cave door.

"If you were truly a true leader, you would have found a way!" shout the snake from inside the cave.

Max sighed. Mr. Hermit's remarks in the form of a glowing red-ringed black snake made him introspective.

"What have I been doing all this time? I never seemed to show my ability as a leader."

In front of the cave, he doubted himself.

"Honestly, I don't feel worthy as a leader either. I thought Goraksana was better, but if this is my chance to prove it, I'm so worried about not being able to do it, therefore can't you give me a clue?"

"You've lived in this place for a very long time, you recognize this place better than me," Max said at the mouth of the cave. At that moment, a thick fog descended drenching his back.

Mr. Hermit had not responded to Max. He waited for a while, hoping the Hermit Master told him how to eliminate the influence of the Crazy Bamboo's negative energy on the beasts.

After a while of waiting, the desired instructions were not given. With a heavy feeling, Max was back on his feet. He looked around. The fog seemed to be very powerful in that place.

Anyone can get lost in their mind if surrounded by fog like this, Max is amazed at the power of the magi in that place.

Max couldn't see the road in front of him. The surroundings turn white. The bamboo stems look like they are just irregularly dotted streaks on the canvas. The road he had walked had turned into a soft cloud plume. Now, he could only see the tip of his foot.

Max smiled as he felt sad inwardly, "It feels like I was swallowed by the fog. The natural element in this place contains dangerous pure Magi."

Max decided to sit down. He changed his pose to cross-legged.

"It's better not to be desperate to go through this thick fog. Moreover, the Magi it contains can be misleading. First of all, I have to control myself first so as not to be affected."

The hiss of the sound of fog sounded increasingly clear in Max's ears as he closed his eyes. Gradually, that hiss felt like hundreds of millions of needles falling from the sky-piercing his body. Max grimaced as he tried to endure the pain.

The mountain holds the air out. Causes warm and moist air to pass through each other and come into contact with cold surfaces. Water vapor condenses until a clot is created on the solid surface. The peaks of the Mountain and the Forbidden Forest were covered in clouds, thick droplets of water gathered like slow and heavy moving clouds. In a short period, all the surfaces on the mountain were covered by ice, including the Crazy Bamboo Forest.

Max was between the fog and that crazy bamboo plant. He sat cross-legged and thought out what was the most appropriate way to get out of the situation. He couldn't see anything but fog back then. Whereas just a few minutes ago, he entered the Crazy Bamboo Forest without any significant difficulty. Going through the density of Crazy Bamboo Forest was indeed quite difficult, but getting out of the fog was more difficult.

"Fog is a part and is the pure power of the universe. It was formed by a purely causal effect of the Great system of the universe. Is this my first test because of so many years of silence? Could this be part of retesting my abilities as the leader of the Sacred Mountain?"

All sorts of questions flashed through Max's mind.

Max weighed in on the situation. Just looking and waiting won't solve the problem. They could be here for a very long time. He also remembered the words of the Hermit Who essentially tried to prove that you were indeed a true leader.

Max sighed, "Defending yourself as a true leader is tough," he said to himself. He remembered how he was tested.

"It seems like it's the only way to fight the fog it's like fighting my doubts," Max decided.
