Interruption

"Analysing opponent. A Time Mage has been detected. Reveal him by using an Elemental Attack with a huge area splash," replied the voice.

A huge area of effect spell, eh? Well, seeing that I can use Cascada so easily, I might as well try using this. I leaped back, away from the area I was in. I have to maintain my distance or else the spell won't work. But this Mage is fast and could predict my moves, making this difficult.

That's it! Since he can read my move so well, then I have to make him be at the spot that I need. When I leaped back, I concentrated all the Energy into my legs and leaped back once more. Sure enough, it gave chase. I stuck my sword into the ground I was at, sending a ripple effect out.

My blade was now shining bright blue as I did so. I pulled it out in the nick of time before the being could strike me in the heart. Also, aside from all these battle tactics, the murderous intent of this Mage is terrifying for me. Did I accidentally step on his pillow or something? Why is he so pissed?

Chucking those thoughts aside, I moved from my place. But instead of going backward, I went towards the left. By doing the same stab into the ground another four times, I ended up completing an invisible circle by returning to the first stab.

Now, I was ready to unleash the spell. I only need the target to be in the center of the spell. And so, I have to lure the opponent into the middle of the circle I had created. I did so, the poor Mage followed me and I quickly made it attack while swiftly dodging my back flipping into the air.

With the opponent's force to strike into the ground, I forced the spell by yelling out its name.

"Cascada Last Moon!" I yelled as the areas that were stabbed began to glow bright blue.

Bright blue pillars shot out from the holes in the ground, causing the area to shake violently. The area that was within the pillars shined bright blue as well. While I was in the air, the spell truly looked like a Full Moon. For its name is...

"Tsunami Of The Full Moon!" I shouted.

Instantly, the pillars around unleashed a tsunami's worth of water, gushing out into the trapped enemy. Tsunamis were considered to be extremely powerful middle fingers by Mother Nature towards humanity. They are the after-effects of the lands having earthquakes.

And people of my previous life died because of it. The wave that devastated Indonesia... When I had friends deployed there as a sign of our alliance with that country... I know how powerful Tsunamis can be and I need that strength now!

"Warning. A secondary enemy has been detected."

What?! A shine of light crossed my line of sight. It was so fast that only after it passed, I managed to register it. I was in hot water now. I drew up my sword once more to prepare for a retaliating attack but was thrown off guard since I didn't know what to expect.

A powerful kick was aimed at the right side of my body. I was sent flying towards the outskirts of the spells, landing hard onto the grassy floor. All this happened within an instant and all I could hear was...

"Lord Atlantia."

As I recovered from the attack, I witnessed the spell I had unleashed converge to the middle of the arena. It kicked up momentous amounts of wind and I had a hard time seeing who was the one who kicked me. When the winds died down, the spell vanished completely.

Now it was time to be afraid as the two beings stood in the middle, victorious at disbanding the spell. One was shorter than the other, who was holding onto a giant, blue metal shield. The shorter one's weapons glinted as he moved it slightly.

This, was not good at all. I was just reborn into this world... And my soul is going to be homeless very soon.

"Notice. The Right Arm has been compromised and cannot be used. Immediate attention is required now. The suggested strategy is to retreat now."

Well, no sh-

"Hang on a minute!" yelled the one with the shield.

As I tried to escape, the being with the shield appeared in front of me and grabbed my left arm. With the shock and speed of the being appearing, I thought my other arm was going to be torn off from my torso. But luckily, I had the better idea of halting when she gripped my arm.

She was so quick that a small shockwave was made.
