The 27th District Of Briton

"I couldn't match his identity to any of the people in the archive, so this guy must be new on the premise or an excellent person at the game of hide-and-seek. That's how I knew people were buying the kids off from the streets."

"Oh, yea, how am I supposed to pass you the audio file to decipher and uncorrupt it? We do not exactly have thumb drives around here," I asked Z.

"Notice. I can go into my physical form once more to pass him the drive. Z created the communication blocks in my code a few decades ago, and I have developed it to be stable. However, I would need to pass it to him since Z is the only one who can see the issue with the file."

Oh... So you are saying my knowledge within the technology realm is not sufficient enough for your complex code? Well, now, I didn't know I slaved for two and half years just for someone to say that I can't read a primary programing language!

"Notice. I was not saying that your knowledge within the coding industry is not enough to see the issue. It is because the coding language you know is far different from mine. Even though Z's world is very similar to yours, the code he practices isn't the same as the one you can understand."

Hmm... We'll see about that.

"Z, Vania has stated that she can pass you the file in her physical form. However, shall we do that somewhere with the equipment to help you uncorrupt the fil? Like a room of some sort," I asked.

"Sure, I think my room should be modern enough to pull that off..." replied Z.

"Hang on, say what now? What do you mean, modern enough? Do you live in a science fiction room, like in star trek or something?" I questioned.

"Well, our rooms within the Old Chapel can breach the times itself so long as we don't bring it out of the room. That means we convert some of our rooms into futuristic themes. But the Old Chapel prefers to make our rooms based on our personalities and era."

"For instance, Mavislin's room is filled with plushies and a bookshelf. It's got a very medieval theme, while Raiyen's room is simplistic and has a victorian theme. Mine would be a modern theme with a few good gadgets that I can't bring out. So yea, my room should be quite alright."

That should be alright. I then looked at Mavislin, who was quite confused and worried in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked, looking at the Valkyrie.

"Perhaps this was a more significant issue than I initially thought. The Duchess isn't supposed to be talking to the people in the lower districts. She is of noble descent, and they don't like to get their hands dirty. And she's the youngest out of the Five. So Vernice shouldn't be doing this."

"That child has the title of a Duchess, the highest rank out of all the Five Kings. That young girl should be hiring people to go and investigate the scene instead of going to the place of the crime. Do you know how dangerous that place can be? Briton's lowest district is a dumping ground."

"Vernice's ancestors decided to create the 27th district as a way to cope with the growing amount of people turning to crime or causing a riot. So before I had joined the Congregation, I was roaming about these Domains before they were established as such."

"Many moons ago, I stayed in the Briton Domain for about a few years. And the experience there was so confusing and upsetting for me. However, not because they treated me differently, the people were quite nice, offering me food and clothing despite me not needing it to survive."

"But after a year, I found out that the districts are categorized by their economical standpoint. For example, the first district is where all the nobles and wealthy people lived, including the Duchess' family. The Duke is in charge, but people revered the missus more than the man."

"Thus, as I reached the lower districts, from 20 to 27, I had to be on guard. And during my time in the third district, I overheard some ladies speaking about the forgotten district of 27. They said that it was a way to toss all those prisoners or opposing parties into the dumps without killing them."

"After hearing that, I was inquisitive about the area, and sure enough, that place was the worst I've ever seen and walked through. I didn't dare to stay there too long. For what I know, Duchess Midford should not have been summoned there and that I need to talk with this wealthy Mage."
