The Dining Sets

I shivered as I saw the Flower Mage sitting at the table since I felt guilty for wounding her in our first encounter. Oof... What a way to make first impressions on my new colleague. It's like punching a random guy at the bar and finding out that he's your new superior...

I'm lucky to survive being at the same table as that Butterfly Girl. Bryan had gotten some food on the table while Clement was still dealing with the main course. Mavislin had a big smile on her face as she tried to contain her excitement of gorging on the feast in front of her.

I glanced onto the alluring oak table. It was so beautifully carved with lilac flower patterns, which is a flower that represents family. I found that cute. Bryan and Z both stood up to hand out the dining ware, unique to each dining table.

All the bowls, plates, and utensils were made out of wood. The cups filled with lovely iced tea were glass, which I found pretty interesting to match the other dining ware. Each set was decorated with intricate carving, the same as the oak table.

I peered at everyone's set before looking at mine. My set had a theme that described my current situation. I happen to have quite the knowledge of flowers' symbols and meanings. In addition, I am pretty superstitious, so I am well aware of the implications of floral designs.

My plate had Myrtles flowers all around, while my plate was gorgeously sculpted with Cherry Blossoms. My glass had a tinge of deep red and Poppies all over. Which meant my set was; Sweet memories, kindness, and remembrance.

Mavislin's theme on her dining ware was reflective of her personality. Her bowl was carved with daisies, while her plate had a single drawing of an Opuntia. The Valkyrie's glass had designs of the Marigold flower, stained in orange. This set meant; innocence, hope, and passion.

I understand that Bryan's theme was quite relevant to his character by living with him for a day. The guy's plate was filled with Veronicas, and his bowl was a carving of a Plumeria or Frangipani. The glass Bryan drank from had a few Sweet Williams adorned everywhere.

Overall, the Slayer's set meant loyalty, charm, and gallantry. I sneaked a quick peek at Rina's set before she instinctively gave me a death glare. Her set was quite confusing to me. The Flower Mage's bowl had carvings of buttercups, and her plate was with Bluebells.

But what caught me off guard was the Spearman Pillar's glass. I had to muster up everything I've got to stop myself from laughing out loud. The glass was decked with Mimosas and was colored bright yellow. Why? Because the first two flowers meant gratitude and childishness.

And that last one, the Mimosas symbolize secret love, a way to tell others that nobody knows that I love you. Vania was confused, but I told her not to press on with the matter. Moving on, let's look at the Time Mage's dining set. It was pretty intriguing to see.

First, Raiyen's plate was etched with Phlox flowers which tie in with his last name. His plate had a giant Amaryllis in the center, and his glass had a chroma of white with Edelweiss. The Time Mage's set meant the following; Harmony, pride, and courage.

Sir Noble's set speaks for the man himself. I wonder if this was the Old Chapel's way for me to understand each Mage of the household. The Head Knight's bowl had King's Spears minted all over, and the plate was garlanded with Daffodils. The glass had a single Petunia, which made me giggle.

The reason is that the flowers symbolize regret, chivalry, and anger. The last two fit the characteristics of Baldwin Noble, but the first was not shown to me yet. I have no clue why he would have regret embedded in his dining ware, but a hunch says that it's related to his past.

Onto Z's bowl, plate, and glass... The first item was with a flower called Cosmos. The Galaxian Mage's plate had Black-Eyed Susans dancing about, and the glass was tinted with purple and Asters flowers. Z's set symbolized; Order, justice, and wisdom. I thought Gillian would be more orderly.

Headmaster Gillian's plate had Irises decorated on it while his bowl was a beautifully carved Peony inside it. The glass in Gillian's hand was pigmented with a purple hue and embellished with carnations. The set meant; Eloquence, marriage, and royalty or nobility.

The High Queen's set was everything that described her. Her vibe and aura. Ysabeau's plate had a Dahlia in its heart, and the bowl was etched with Lavenders. The High Queen's glass was colored pink with Azaleas all over. The flowers describe as; Elegance, honor, and feminine beauty.
