Dissecting The Audio

'I need you to tell Bryan that there's a way to get into the mansion without being caught to rescue the children first. It is at-'

Another pause with slight static and white noise. It sounded like gurgles and muttered words, but they were too jumbled up to be understood.

'Fabian isn't aiming to kill the poor children... He is finding an escape from the reality he was living with. An only child misunderstood by the cruel society of the world. I'm not justifying what he did was fair and good, but I'm saying do not anger him anymore.'

Another pause happens but only for a delay of 500 milliseconds.

'After all, his powers transcends the knowledge we know as Magecraft. FB is the first of his kind, and unfortunately, even Gillian doesn't know about FB's Element of choice. I can only have faith in my little Valkyrie and team members. I heard that there's a new one in town,' said the male voice.

'By the way, those soups aren't made from traditional vegetables and meats.'

The audio ended with that sentence, and we were all left flabbergasted. I was shocked because of the mountain of information dropped on us while the rest was stunned by the presence of the male voice.

"You are right, Grand Admiral. Mav sealed that guy up in Euphoria half a year ago... How could he be around here? And summoned without Mavislin's knowledge?" asked Bryan, still trying to process what was going on.

"No, it is possible for the spirits trapped in Euphoria to be summoned without Mavislin's knowledge. Think of it as an emergency defense system. When summoned without control, the spirits' powers may only last for a Chime but are stronger than when summoned with control."

"It's an odd thing, and we still need time to figure out about it, but it isn't too urgent now," assured Z.

"I'd prefer that Mavislin find a way to control those summonings of hers. I understand it's difficult, but she has got no choice. Not only could it stop the random pop-ups of dead people, but it might come in handy for the Waves to come."

"You guys were lucky enough to stop the Umbra's rampage the last time because Benjamin wasn't fully awakened. But, unfortunately, the next time you meet him, there's a high chance that you'll lose someone precious in the group."

"Please don't mistake my words as threats or curses; it's the hard truth that you guys need to know. Because the power level of the Umbras combined is only a fraction of Benjamin's power, however, for now, we'll have to focus on this task before handling the Husks Waves."

"If my calculations are correct, it'll be half a year from now. So we've got until then to prepare," explained Bryan, in his serious tone.

"You say as if you've come up with a timetable for those nasty things. But I will take your warning to heart and make sure no one dies that day. I will not waste another life just to secure a phantom victory," commanded Z, with a shaky voice.

"If I had Clairvoyance, I could predict the Corrupted One's movements better. But, regrettably, I don't have that Element and can only count on the previous records of the sightings of the Husks to determine the next Wave," replied Bryan, sighing.

Meanwhile, I was at the computer that was playing back the audio. From the bottom of my heart, I knew that Bryan was warning the Founders about the death of one of the core members. But I refused to delve into that part since I was busy understanding what the audio was saying.

First, my hunch of the missing childrens' incident has been confirmed to be linked to the Dollhouse and Fabian from that audio. Second, an appearance of a supposedly dead male guy for a while now, and Mavislin sort of 'killed' him.

From what I've read in the novel and the double use of 'darling' in the audio, I presume that this male guy is the former Marquess and ex-leader of the Five Kings, Minwoo Kim Dalles. I know that guy's character and relationship with Mavislin. He should be on our side, but I can't trust him yet.

Because of one key fact in the audio, Minwoo was tracked by FB. And the guy had already admitted that he gave information to confuse the Arks not to track FB's activities down. But one striking part about the whole conversation was the part Minwoo talked about FB's life.

I've always had a knack for hearing people's tones and ways of speech. Minwoo has a very thick Korean accent, but his command of English is still strong enough for others to understand. It was only in that one paragraph throughout the audio that Minwoo sounded different.
