Command In Deciphers

It's a slight change but a change nonetheless. Minwoo's tone became robotic for a while as he reasoned about FB doing such atrocities. It was as if some unseen force was controlling him. I'm guessing that the noise before that paragraph was Minwoo being taken over by FB again.

But for now, I can use what information he has given us and work on it to get to the place. It's better than having no knowledge and jumping into the inferno. The third is the use of children in FB's plan. I felt that I understood the last sentence of the audio, but I'm in denial about it.

Not only is FB turning those kids into 'Dolls,' but he is also taking their flesh as supplements to gain Elemental Energy. It sounds disgusting and horrifying to know. No amount of bleach could rectify my ears at this point, even if I dunked my entire head into a tank full of the poison.

I squeezed my eyes shut as I tried to focus on something else other than that heinous revelation. I thought back to that static noise and gurgles... It must've been placed there strategically to convey some message because it didn't match the white noise from the other pauses.

I quickly went up to the computer and found a way to see the audio in its waveform. The computer was smart enough to understand what I needed and showed me the interface's ropes. I was amazed that it was easier than using a traditional keyboard and mouse.

The audio presented in its waveforms was the wrong thing I needed, but I had to work from there. So I quickly scrolled by swiping the holographic display of the audio to find the part where the foreign noise was being made.

I used my fingers to make sharp lines to cut the part from the audio and extract it to experiment with it. Then, using my hands to control the size of the fragment, I began to play with it, extending and shrinking it to match what I needed but to no avail.

My eyes caught a glimpse of a help bar at the top corner of the table. Bingo! I clicked on the help bar, and a drop list of words came out. I scrolled to find the 'Spectrogram' button and highlighted the part converted into a Spectrogram; visualization of audio's frequencies with the timings.

It came out to be quite colorful with purple, red, and pink. So I took a quick screenshot of that sonograph to further manipulate the image to the exact thing I wanted. But I was still hitting a wall with my experiments, and it was angering me to no end.

"Hey, Lizzie. Perhaps you want to look from another perspective? When I get frustrated, Mavislin always told me to take a step back and go at the problem from another viewpoint," comforted Bryan, placing a hand on my shoulder.

That's it! I grabbed Bryan's hand and kissed it out of my excitement before returning to work on the Spectrogram once more. The poor Slayer was left dumbfounded as Z began to laugh his head off.

"I can't wait to tell Mavislin about this..."

"Shut up!" was all I could hear before Z began to roar with laughter and at a louder volume.

I turned the 2d spectrogram into a 3d one, which displayed rectangular blocks of colors. Then, using my hands, I could tilt the diagram to a certain angle to reveal a model of a map. I smiled as I fidgeted with the model and fit it to the right position.

I quickly took a screenshot and swiped the image towards the two men.

"No way... That's the map Minwoo was trying to describe to Vernice?" asked Bryan, looking at the image.

"Most likely. But this looks quite familiar, and I swear that this Fabian guy wasn't the one who built it," said Z, finally regaining his composure.

The Galaxian Mage went up to the image and flipped it upside down. This was a map of an underground facility of some sorts, with winding tunnels leading to small, dead-end rooms. It was made to confuse the ones trapped there because the exit was the same as the entrance.

So when the victims turn the corner right before the opening, they would think that they had gone through the area before and then reverse. But the map reminded me of a burrow of some sort—a twisted one.

We could finally start planning the second half of the operation with the map done. How are we going to rescue the kids, knowing that Fabian has full control of the area? And what did Minwoo mean by having eyes all around? So many questions, but I've got only one head to use.
