The third roar rang throughout the area, initiating the Jörmungandr's attack. Though this Beast may be a sea serpent, it has an affinity for Poison. So that attack barreling towards us was called the Roar Of Midgard, Venom To Split The Nine Worlds.
If it claims to split the Nine Realms of Norse Mythos, then I pray that the Shield that Sir Velvet wields is sturdy enough to brave that attack. Otherwise, that attack might split my soul into nine different Universes. The Poison was enough to melt the mighty Thor's face into nothing.
So I'm giving it my all to defeat this fearsome foe that encircles the Earth. I looked straight ahead just in time to see the Beast's ugly face pop out of the thick cloud of mist. God... That game that depicted this monster was closer to the truth than the developers had thought...
It was huge and terrifying, but it looked fantastic as well. And that thing seems pretty good to be served up to break my fast for the day.
"Arcane Grand Orders; Seventh Order!" I shouted as golden balls of light were placed at the mouths of the barrels of the canons.
"The Small World Of The Azure Skies..."
"Gilgamesh's Firestorm Of Uruk!" I yelled, finishing my spell with a massive firing of all the cannons once said to defend the Kingdom of Uruk.
The multitude of cannons fired produced a brilliant display of flying golden lights and showered onto the giant sea serpent. The Beast was howling as the treasures of Gilgamesh pierced its skin. In its mythos, Gilgamesh reigns supreme.
However, I was up against a sea serpent of Norse Folklore. A Beast said to be left in the ocean to grow into monstrous sizes. But I did not doubt that I would win in this firestorm so long as the defensive spell from Sir Velvet continued to block the Poison attack.
And hopefully, I could sever those ropes...
"Akhilleus Universe!" roared Sir Velvet, allowing the metal shield to shine and disperse into the growing walls of sand and water.
As both spells reached their climax, the serpent's attack poured through the thick fog and crashed into the walls of Sir Velvet's spell. The shockwave created by the two attacks clashing dispersed the thick fog instantly, providing a full view of the battlefield.
No way... I was wondering why that chant sounded so familiar... It was the Shield of Achilles, the hero from the Trojan War! I had just used Rho Aias... And this spell should be almost the same rank as the Shield Of Ajax since it was from the same mythos!
Had I known that Sir Velvet wielded an attack as strong as this, I wouldn't have my doubts!
"Please stop judging me because I look like a weak little boy... Though I may not look like it, I am still ranked as a decent Glorybringer. Besides, the Knights of Dawn are to be the defending Ark of the organization, so our defenses are the ones to get us into the department in the first place."
"The Barren Pillars are based on your attacking power, a completely different world from the one Baldwin had created for us. So I hope you are as strong as your title shows you, Lady Elizabeth..." blurted Sir Velvet as he tried to maintain the serpent's spell.
"Hmph... I will show you my power by using the King's Signal Cannons!" I yelled as I readied the cannons again.
I fired another wave of treasures to the Beast, making sure that it could never get a chance to recover. Keep in mind that the treasures from the gate of Babylon are all unique and possess a power of their own. And that thing was still standing...
Because of the abrupt halt of the spell, the Storm Beast had to come out of the thick fog to see what was stopping its advance. And it was only then we got a full view of how ugly that monster was... And boy... That thing needs to go plastic surgery or something.
"The Storm Beast is still not dead... So what's your next action plan, Swordsman?" asked Sir Velvet, as his hands quivered from the weight of the spell.
I hated to say this, but the Seventh Order wasn't strong enough... Is any other stage in my Original Spell sufficient to kill this thing once and for all? Wait... I just remembered... I was supposed to use the Third Order because we were at the Coast. Vania, do I have enough?
"Notice. You have enough Elemental Energy to pull off the Third Order. However, doing so will drain all bars to 5%. After that, you'll only be able to walk and not produce any other spell. Would you like to use it?" asked Vania.
