Third Order: Okeanus And Golden Hunt

I don't think I have a choice, do I? I took a deep breath as the King's Signal Cannons mirage dispersed into the air. But that meant I needed to buy time to do another round of magic.

"Slayer Verna, do you have a defensive spell that stops the Poison attack? I need more time to make my second attack," I shouted, turning to see the group.

Without hesitation, Bryan leaped from his position and took out his scythes to draw a symbol in front of us. The emblem was bright gold as Bryan quickly landed on the balcony's edge.

"The Ship that sailed the Greek Seas to claim the Golden Fleece. The boat gained the attention and help of the Gods. Stars Of Argo Navis; Argonauts' Ship!" yelled Bryan while the golden emblem of a large ship glowed brilliantly in front of us.

As the light blinded everyone, the Beast was given no time to throw another attack. Bryan's spell came to fruition as the blinding light went away, revealing the boat's bow crashing against the sea serpent's attack. Alright, this feels stable enough for me to unleash the Third Order.

"The place of endless tales... The homeland to the Titans of Oceanus and Tethys... The ultimate goal of the great King of Conquerors, let it be known to everyone that this is the Last Spell of Aqua Dominus," I chanted as I steadily climbed onto the wall to be at Bryan's side.

The problem with this Order was that I needed to be in contact with a body of water to activate the spell. Thus, it meant that I needed to be nearer to the monster.

"Hoist the colors of the ships that once sailed the seas! Bare the fangs of the great Dragon Tooth Gate! This is their tale of sea adventures..." I yelled as I leaped from the balcony.

Sir Velvet freaked out while Bryan called for me, both unable to move because their spells had rooted them to the ground. Meanwhile, I drew out my sword and held it above my head to prepare to slam it down onto the water surface below.

The drop must've been ten stories since we were at the highest point of Teuton's Coastline.

"Third Order; Close The Four Corners Of The World, Okeanus!" I roared, hammering my blade into the waters.

A Tick passed before the Beast started flailing about, causing massive waves. Four giant water pillars appeared around the creature, with ropes shooting to hold down the thrashing monster. As the ropes grabbed its head in place, I was ready to fire the second half of the spell.

"Voyager of the Storms. The one who braved the Sun and brought down the Invincible Fleet of Spain. Hear the mighty roar of the fleet!"

As I recited, I pointed my sword toward the monster's face. My sword morphed into a pirate's blade as the water surrounding the barrier and the Beast changed into large cannons.

Similar to the Seventh Order, the Third Order was the consolidation of the ships once fought within the waters of the oceans. Gathering the combined firepower of all pirates throughout history, they were all waiting on my signal to fire and start the Hunt.

"The Golden Hunt Shall Commence!" I shouted, aiming my blade right at the head of the Beast.

One-shot was enough to pierce the skull as the rest of the cannons pulverized the creature's body. Then, with a crash into the sea, I could safely say that the quest to quell the storm had finally been completed.

And my breakfast was served as I forced another tidal to wash the monster's body to shore. But as I thought about it, I guess it wasn't a good idea to use trapped creatures of folklore as the main dish to break my fast.

"Notice. You have completed the quest 'Defeating the Midgard Serpent' and increased Bond Levels for all party members. In addition, you have unlocked full usages for both the Seventh and Third Order," announced Vania as I saw multiple symbols popping out in my vision.

"Notice. The quest of 'Hurricane Estelle' has also been completed as you've succeeded in protecting the Teuton Domain. Be sure to find Z for your reward," added Vania.

A few more quests popped out in conjunction with the defeat of such a grand creature. The thing was a shadow of what it could be if it hadn't been used as a puppet. Yet, it was powerful enough to force me to use two of the Arcane Orders to defeat it with two significant shields.

I closed my eyes and walked towards the half-dead body of the Jörmungandr. I knew the creature was still alive despite receiving a sniper shot directly to the head since it wasn't a killing blow.
