Twins Of Valokia... Fight!

I thought they were chains controlled by Benjamin, so why are those things attached to him as if he was the puppet? I was so confused. But that was when I concentrated on Mavislin's expression. I couldn't tell if she was in pain or angered by fighting her twin.

"It's interesting to see that you have the guts to fight me despite all odds against you, dear sister," taunted Benjamin, smiling maniacally.

"I don't think you have the right to call me that after what you've done."

With that last sentence, both contenders' powers exploded into vastly contrasting colors. Mavislin's Aura was a beautiful artwork of white, gold, and orange Elemental Energy, transformed into three sets of large wings behind her.

Meanwhile, the Corrupted One had shades of purple, black and grey lingering behind his back like some demon overhead. Finally, the twins released their actual wings, which also had notable differences.

Mavislin's golden wings dwarf her twin's set by a significant margin, but it wasn't as big as the one I saw that day. And her twin's wings were black and had feathers dropping off like it was autumn on an oak tree. The two stomped their legs into the ground, shaking the whole area.

"Let's take..." said Mavislin.

"It up..." continued the Corrupted One.

"To the skies!" chimed the two Mages before launching from their positions.

The two fought with their claws and delivered powerful blows to each other. But I wasn't keen on that part since the chains were still on Benjamin's limbs. That's when I spot the fella, the Old Commander of the Congregation. The guy was... Old and looked quite mean.

Old Man Pond wore a green cloak, white shirt, and black pants. The man's hair was greyish-green which irked me a bit. But what set me off was his expression during the fight... He was happy and enjoying his two siblings' fight to the death, making him sick in the stomach.

I felt anger swarm in my head as I switched back to the duo. I knew I had a sickening feeling when looking at his face, but this was genuinely revolting. I felt pity for the twins. Imagine fighting against each other because of their powers, and what couldn't be controlled?

If I had to fight my little brother in such a setting, I would gladly cancel my subscription to life for my brother to continue with his life. I'd never fight with him... I can't bring myself to such a deed.

"It's nice when I get to play with you again... Just like old times..." said Benjamin, cackling.

"Like old times? You destroyed the old times! You plunged everything into fire and darkness... Mother tried to stop you, but you wouldn't listen and killed her!" yelled Mavislin, shaking her voice.

"She was the one who put me into that camp. She was the reason why I was a monster. She... IS NOT MY MOTHER!" shouted Benjamin, losing control of his emotions.

Mavislin instinctively backed off and prepared for an Elemental attack. But, instead, the Corrupted One took in a massive gulp of air and aimed at Mavislin.

"Howl of the..." said Benjamin, readying up the signature move of a Valkyrie.

Mavislin plucked out two of her feathers and crushed them in her palm before punching the air in front of her hair.

"Gaze into the pride of the Valkyries... Unleash the Kingdom of Arcadia! Behold! This is the Fort that could withstand generations of wars! Ready... Set!" chanted Mavislin as two streams of gold Elemental Energy escaped her fist.

"Valkyries!" roared Benjamin, releasing a tornado of black Elemental Energy towards Mavislin.

"Fort Andromeda!" shouted Mavislin as the two streams solidified and escaped her palm.

A massive explosion of gold occurred and morphed into a large solid wall of gold. As if that thing wasn't enough, a giant symbol on the front of the wall popped out as a shield which was more significant than the wall. The Elements clashed, kicking the dirt despite being so high up in the air.

But something odd happened; the Corrupted One lost control of the spell, resulting in an explosion. After that, the battle turned into an assault against the future leader of the Barren Pillars. Mavislin sensed something was wrong and was on the receiving end of the battle.

But it wasn't because of an increase in Elemental Strength... No, it was something more morbid and Mavislin was trying her best not to be the bully out of the two The Corrupted One was getting wounds all over his body and bleeding profusely.

Mavislin was horrified when a mere punch could take out an organ on her twin's left side.

"Stop it now! Your body can't sustain the impact of our clashes anymore!" yelled the female Valkyrie, unable to comprehend what was happening.
