Second Order: Flames Of Laus Claudius

The White Rat lightly tapped his foot onto the metal ground, allowing his Elemental Aura of orange to surround his figure and pour into his blade. It looks like this guy has an affinity for fire, just like Tomoe. Darn, maybe I should call for that Kitsune before engaging with this White Rat.

Urg... What's done is done, I suppose.

"Yes. Even though something is still bothering me about the whole 'dead man walking' issue..." I replied, getting ready.

"Oh? What is it that you want to know?"

"I want to know why are you a Mage now when you died as a human? Did Mavislin's Magecraft do this to you? Or have you been a Mage before you died?"

"Hmm... I'll tell you the truth if your Spell wins mine. Okay?"

This guy is getting on my nerves. I don't have any more time to waste. If it's my Orginal Spell he wants, I will give it to him!

"Listen to the thunderous applause of the Roman Empire. Behold, the Eternal Madness Kingdom of the Century. Let the roses bloom and wilt, the crowd roar with ambition and pride. Where the Emperor of Roses ruled the glory Kingdom..." I chanted as my rainbow Aura engulfed me.

"It's the regrets I've kept and the sadness I hold. Though I have faith, these hands will never reach for the stars. So, I will take matters into my own hands. Happiness will never find me... And that makes my heart burn with anger, hatred, and sorrow," said Minwoo, closing his eyes.

Man, why is his chant so depressing? It makes me want to send the White Rat to counseling. But, then again, after what happens during today's sting operation, everybody will need therapy. My blade started to change again as streams of flames danced around the weapon.

A blast of light blinded me for a moment as the flames thoroughly covered my sword and turned it into an even more giant sword. Now, the weapon was red and black and had an odd-looking shape. Like, the shape of the blade was designed to be of 'flames.'

"Arcane Grand Order; Second Order. Flames Of Laus Claudius!" I shouted, unleashing a massive slash of Fire Elemental Energy towards Minwoo.

"Burn brighter than the sun, Berserker's Barrage!" shouted Minwoo, unleashing an even bigger fire attack on me.

Crap, I shouldn't have used an attacking Spell if I'd known he would be using an offensive spell. Currently, my stats are slightly imbalanced, with my defense being higher than my offense. I cursed as I may have bitten off my than I could chew.

I wanted to summon Rho Aias as a last-ditch effort to stop the giant wave of flames, but then I heard the familiar voice of a person. Or should I say... A friendly fire user.

"Second Sun: Halcyon Azure!" yelled Tomoe, busting through the metal walls and landing a substantial circular slash onto Minwoo's back.

"What on?!" yelled the White Rat, who could not foresee the sudden entrance of a fox spirit.

The circular slash ruptured the White Rat's spine, and the trail of flames exploded into a mirage of a clear blue sky before dying down. As the light cleared, Minwoo was lying on his back with a sea of blood, with his lower body entirely severed from his upper torso.

The man was still breathing heavily and cursing the Kitsune for ruining the battle. But for me, it was a godsend since I wasn't sure I'd gotten that Korean guy all figured out.

"You were about to kill my girl! How can I not interfere?!" shouted Tomoe, throwing a large metal piece towards Minwoo.

But the metal piece went through the Korean as his body began glowing and disintegrating into golden dust.

"I thought you were in love with Mavislin? How could you betray her like that?!" yelled Minwoo, still having the strength to freak out.

I applauded the guy for being so energetic despite being sawed in half.

"I didn't betray her! I am still working with that Valkyrie, and Lizzie is a new Pillar of Mavislin's department, so I am here to help her out. If you didn't attack Lizzie, you could have stuck around long enough to say hello to Mav! And besides... I lost that bet..."

Minwoo looked confused before going 'oh' for a long breath.

"So she chose that Time Mage over you, huh? It must've sucked for you... Hmph... I'm going to get an earful from Ashley for dying so quickly and at the hands of a mere Familiar..." grumbled the White Rat as he closed his eyes.

"Oi! I'm a Familiar of a Time Mage, mind you!" yelled Tomoe, shaking his fist with anger.

I smacked the fox on the shoulder, earning a glare from him.
