Raiyen Vs Raijin

Glitching through the hallway was no issue since the area was like an ordinary cave. But instead of traps, the place was littered with sounds of thunderclaps and random lightning strikes scattered about and ready to strike any intruder. What a pain, thought the Time Mage.

Raiyen sighed as he pulled out his daggers to deflect the attacks quickly. Once done, Raiyen found himself standing at an entrance to a vast, greyish rocky cave. The TIme Mage stepped in without fear in his stance or eyes and got ready to fight.

"Killing me three times was not enough for you... Must you find me again to do it again, Blue Dagger? Or are you going for another tactic this time?" thundered a deep voice within the cave's shadows.

"You can't blame me for putting you down after what you've become, Raijin. After all, you were the one who challenged me all those years ago. I don't even know if you can still remember why you are fighting me," said Raiyen, slowly walking to the center of the cave.

Silence hung in the air as Raijin entered via a lightning bolt. But Raiyen did not flinch as the enemy made the first move. Instead, the Time Mage dodged by shifting to his left side, forcing Raijin to turn and go to his center of gravity. Raiyen sighed as he tripped the kid.

"When are you going to learn that your small taunts will never affect me, Raijin?" asked Raiyen, brandishing his famous twin daggers.

"Don't be so cocky when you haven't faced me for the last few years! After what He has given me... I've become stronger than most of the old Congregation members!" yelled Raijin, getting up and leaping back.

The Lightning fellow then rushed forwards to Raiyen, with an orb of black Lightning Elemental Energy in his palm, readying to slam down at Raiyen.

"Activate the Seven Mysteries! Scare them with your legends! Fear the supernatural! Know the tales beyond the school grounds... Fourth Mystery: Artroom World!" yelled Raijin as Raiyen shifted to his left, forcing Raijin to slam his attack down onto the cave grounds.

The impact caused the floor to crack and drew a specific pattern. Black and yellow lights ignited the crack on the ground. The newly formed lines were of a picture of the mouth of an unknown monster. After figuring that part out, Raiyen glitched away from his position.

"Using the Mysteries as the first attempt on me should be suicidal... Have you not learned anything from your past few experiences?" asked Raiyen, safely landing on the other side of the cave.

"Oh really? Do you want to play with me like that? Well then... I'll show you what I've got up my sleeves!" roared Raijin as he snapped his fingers.

The drawing on the floor shined brightly, and a substantial dragon-like monster came out. The area shook as the dragon stomped onto the ground and bent over to open its large mouth. Raiyen made the mistake of thinking the attack would come from the mouth.

Instead, the attacks came from the ceiling, raining several lightning bolts on Raiyen. The Time Mage ran about, trying to dodge the bolts as Raijin laughed gleefully.

"Hah! I thought you said fighting me would be easy? Or were you saying that to boost your confidence?" laughed Raijin as the dragon continued the assault.

Raiyen felt his vein pop after listening to Raijin's laughs and stopped in his tracks. The Time Mage lifted his arm with a blade in hand as if to call for the lightning bolt to strike him. Once it did, Raiyen remained unflinching and propelled from his spot towards the dragon.

"First Strike!" yelled the Time Mage, as his blade extended into a beam of light long enough to slice the beast into half within a fraction of a second.

The poor Lightning kid watched horror as Raiyen used his Lightning Bolts to destroy his creation. Anger fueled the kid as he pulled out another move.

"Third Mystery: Hell Of Mirrors!" yelled Raijin, slamming his hands onto the rocky floor.

Gradually, the walls of the cave changed to lines of mirrors, making Raiyen feels slightly dizzy and even more irritated. Then, suddenly, a bolt of lightning flashed from Raijin's palms towards one of the mirrors and bounced everywhere, creating dozens of bolts.

But the Time Mage didn't care for such small attacks as he raised his palm into the air and grabbed a bunch of bolts while braving the rest of the assault. Finally, Raiyen clenched his hand and moved his arm towards Raijin, who was startled.

"Skies above, adhere to my chant. Obey me, O' lightning and rain! Charge up and brighten the area. Radiant Storm Omega!" yelled Raiyen, shooting out a single bolt of lightning to Raijin.
