Death Scatters, Kingdom Comes!

"Go ahead and punch the crystal in front of you... You'll find that there's a reason why Mav instructed you to use your demented expression to freak your opponents out," instructed the Ankou with a cheeky smile.

The boy followed the Reaper's words and laughed at the result. Duncan failed all tests that had to do with physical strength, so his punch couldn't make too much of a wound, even if he were outraged.

Despite having weak energy, the large crystal in front of Duncan crumbled into nothingness after the kid boxed it.

"Let's go for an Area of effect attack... Are you thinking on the same wavelength?" asked the Reaper, hopping off the gravestone in Duncan's mind.

"Yes... I know exactly what you are planning, Grim Reaper," said Duncan as he felt the Reaper partially taking control of his body.

"But after we are done with the Frame and attack, I've got one thing I want to do to the girl..." added the Ankou, suspiciously excited.

"I hope it's nothing inappropriate... I'm still a kid..." murmured Duncan, lowering his scythe.

"No, I'm not going to those things. Get your head out of the gutter! I want to finish what she had initiated with you. About peeking into our memories. Because I hate it when Mages do so, thinking they can get away with looking into someone's private memories and not facing any side-effects."

"But the memories you allowed Astria to see weren't mine... Right?"

"You are right; I could never allow my friend to be affected by such a worthless girl. So, therefore, I altered your memories each time she pried into your past while keeping some truths so I wouldn't be detected."

"But with the second activation, I had to use another person's memories to protect you. Which was why you felt that sharp pain but did not receive any major wounds," explained the Ankou.

"So... At the last part, you want to show her my true memories?" asked Duncan.

"Bingo! I'd like to see how she'd fair upon seeing the truth about the child she fought against. Let's see if her soul is ready to take the weight. So shall we use the Final Frame to destroy your opponent?"

Duncan smiled as he raised his scythe high above his head.

"The curtains draw to their closure one final time. Let the stage be set, and the story progresses to its final arc. A tragedy, a romance, a tale about the Gods Of Death all across History! No matter which God you believe in, there will always be one that represents Death itself..." chanted Duncan.

Astria sensed something was happening with Duncan as the boy's films started attacking the nearest crystals. So the child's Elemental Energy was strong enough to destroy those gigantic crystals?! How was that possible?! Astria freaked out again as she increased her defense.

Hang on a moment... Why was she playing on the defensive side when her arsenal was filled with offensive tactics? Astria cursed at herself... Why was she so scared of such a small kid?! And she managed to lose her cool against such a tiny brat?! That is unacceptable!

"Wage war. Increase conflicts. Multiply pain, divide the hearts... Hate upon those who have done me harm. Anger towards the ones that left me behind. Fight the ones who stand in my way! Destroy everything to assure my victory! Totalitarian Rule!" screamed the Crystal Princess.

Astria's incantation caused the place to go into overdrive, making more crystals and hardening the ones that were present. The crystals were now bright red as they reflected on Astria's current mood, who was livid at being played by a small child.

The area started to shake violently as the two Mages entered the final stage of their Original Spells. The Ankou was excited as he could finally release some pent-up Elemental Energy into the physical realm again by using Duncan as a host.

"May Death scatter across the plains..." continued Duncan as the films around him dispersed to every corner of the place.

"May my Kingdom come and rise to power!" added Astria, placing her hands on the crystals by her side.

"Final Frame: Graves Of The Round Table!" shouted Duncan as the Ankou gained control of his entire body.

But the two males were in unison in both thinking and movement, shifting the left leg to the side and bringing down the scythe to slam into the crystal grounds. As they brought down the giant weapon, a trail of green and purple Elemental Energy was tied to its tail.

By slashing the crystal in front of them, Duncan and the Ankou cleared a path toward Astria, who was taken aback by the sudden breakage of all her crystals. The poor girl could see a giant wave of green heading toward her.
