Sword Of Flowery Honors, The Ankou Laughs

"I hope you have better luck in the afterlife if there isn't hell waiting for you after this," I finished as I dug out his eyeballs.

But I was beginning to feel bored, so I killed the man swiftly. That's when I accepted my fate as an assassin and devoted my life to the art. But, of course, I wasn't off the rocker to advertise myself as a killer who loved the thrill of severing a head from the neck.

Thus, I decided to become a twisted 'hero of justice' by killing all those predators of children and women in abusive relationships. Soon after, people hired me for those reasons, and I got into the business.

Of course, my parents knew but said nothing so long as I continued caring for my baby brother. That particular event of me against the brothers sent a message throughout the country within the underground channels, stating that a girl had killed the largest gang in the North.

A girl with dark brown and black hair, armed with a rapier that, had a super long blade. With its name being the Sword of Flowery Honors, the most distinguishing factor was the flowery design of the hilt, covered in gold.

Since then, I have been holding the sword by my side whenever I walked around the streets at night to let them know who I was. It was the same sword I had when I died.

And to see it in the grasp of some kidnapping fool, I ought to destroy him! Duncan instantly felt my Elemental Aura charging up and calmly placed a hand on my shoulder. But when I looked into his eyes, I knew that the Ankou was staring right back at me.

"Dearie, don't be angry now... We must keep our feelings in check or risk making the wrong choices. Remember, we can't let our emotions drive our blades, or we would be playing right into the enemy's hands. We must stay level-headed and decide on the best tactic against our enemy."

"Besides, I can help you get that blade back in a wink," advised the Ankou as he turned around at the last part to twirl his gigantic scythe around.

"You promise?" I asked, with desperation in my voice.

I... I want my sword back... It felt odd not using it for the past few days when I'm constantly fighting foes. It was like a lucky charm; I always had it as a backup in case my firearms didn't work at the last second. But it didn't mean I could only use that sword.

I was trained to use a gun, bows, and daggers if needed. But I still loved that rapier...

"Of course, my dear Lizzie... Pardon my appearance, but I think you are one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met, so I will gladly do anything for you to smile... Even if it means to drive a hole into this man's Elemental Core," declared the Ankou, slamming his scythe into the ground.

"You don't scare me... Even if you have the Ankou on your side, you are still a boy. And a boy doesn't have good control of his feelings..." smirked Fabian as he held up the Sword of Flowery Honors.

"Hah! You truly haven't done your research on us yet... Haven't you?" asked the Ankou as he picked up his scythe to aim at the Illusion Mage.

"I don't have to go against a small child like you! Let's see... You may be the Spirit within the boy, but I can still use something good from that kid's memories. How about this, then?" questioned Fabian as he stabbed the blade into the ground.

That move triggered a black blob to emerge from the burnt grounds. When the chunk entirely morphed into a child, the Ankou widened his eyes before throwing his head back with laughter. I was confused before Vania thoroughly analyzed the child with white fox ears and tail.

The kid looked alive, but the only difference was that her emerald eyes were hazy. And if I strained my eyes, I could tell that the girl was related to Duncan since they had the same blank expression and physique.

"Notice. This child goes by the name 'Midori' and is set to be the next Swordsman Pillar. She is Duncan's twin sister. A victim of the Infinite Experiments from Albion, Midori was chosen to be in a group called 'Training Pillars' that was trained to be the next generation of the Barren Pillars."

"Do note that the real Midori has the Spirit of the King of Knights residing in her. The once renowned King of Camelot, Artoria Pendragon, aids Midori in her battles throughout the training period. However, this version of Midori might not have the King's power since it's only a copy."
