After seeing Yang Mei, he was totally beguiled by her. The lust which was hidden deep within him flared up. He approached her in the restaurant and introduced himself.

Looking at her he said, "Hello, I am Mo Hai." and extended his hand.

Yang Mei was busy with her meal when Mo Hai walked up to her. When she heard him introduce himself, she looked up but after a glance, she continued eating. She completely ignored him.

Mo Hai was stunned. Both he and his brother had soft and effeminate features and were considered beautiful. It was very rare for a girl to ignore him. His desire to conquer her increased further. He understood that she was not an ordinary girl. So, he decided to come up with a plan before proceeding further. So, he gently bade her farewell and took his leave.

On the other hand, such simple beauty tricks wouldn't work on Mei. She had grown up with Yang Li. She believed that after seeing her brother's face for so many years she could never be beguiled by another man's appearance. She soon forgot about this incident.

However, this was just the beginning. Mo Hai used his family network to find out all her information.

Nothing stood out.

He had initially thought that she was a member of one of the elite families. However, this was not the case. She didn't even have ties to any of the tier 1 families. He became excited after learning this. He didn't dig any deeper.

If he hadn't been blinded by lust and dug a little deeper, he would have noticed the discrepancies in her information. With a little more research, he would have known that she was not someone he should mess with. However, at that moment he was blinded by lust.

He decided to take a different approach. She didn't seem to be moved by his appearance or background. So, he decided to move her with his sincerity.

He knew that she was a doctor and was presently busy with her hospital. The hospital was currently under construction and she was overseeing the work.

He got her schedule and for the next 6 months he kept on bumping into her at different places.

Whenever he met her, he was a complete gentleman. He was polite, considerate, and respectful towards her. He would sometimes bring gifts for her. However, they were never expensive gifts but most of them had been personalized for Yang Mei. Some gifts were even handmade.

At the time when Mo Hai entered her life, Yang Li was not in the country and Yang Mei was under immense pressure. This was primarily due to the Yang family.

Mo Hai was kind and gentle to her. He talked to her and helped relieve her stress. She started becoming comfortable around him. She would vent out her problems to him. And because he was providing her the support she needed at that point, she lowered her defenses. She didn't even bother to investigate his background.

So, after a year of knowing each other, Mo Hai asked Yang Mei to be his girlfriend.

Both the siblings had never been in a relationship before. Although both of them were extremely capable and intelligent in general, they were novices when it came to relationships.

Yang Mei felt comfortable around Mo Hai. He was kind, gentle, easy to talk to, and good-looking. She liked being around him. So, she agreed.

When he heard her response, the lust within Mo Hai surged. He had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.

He said to her, "Mei we will celebrate our 1st day today. I will take you to dinner tonight. I will pick you up at 8 p.m."

Mei replied, "Ok."

He was very excited. He called his brother and made arrangements for that night at a hotel. It was owned by the Mo family.

He went back to his house and started fantasizing about how he was finally going to conquer her body. He had never spent so much time and effort on any girl before. He would play with her till he tamed her. After tonight she would become his toy.

He remembered the first when he greeted her, she ignored him. She looked so noble and pure. He wanted to destroy that nobility and purity. And tonight, he was going to fulfill all his pent-up desires.

He reached her house at 8 p.m. When she came out of her house, she looked alluring with her hourglass figure. She was wearing a white mini dress with thigh-high black boots. Her dark brown hair was tied in a bun and her grey-blue eyes looked angelic. She had light makeup on.

At this moment Mo Hai's lust was raging but he held it in. He looked at her and said, "Mei you look like an angel!!"

On hearing his comment Mei's cheeks reddened. She walked up to Mo Hai and said, "Shall we go dear??"

On hearing her say 'dear' he paused and then proceeded to guide her to the car.

They reached the hotel in 20 minutes. The journey was silent and both of them were busy with their own thoughts. Mo Hai was fantasizing about his night with Mei. Whereas, Mei was feeling nervous about her 1st date ever.

When they were at the hotel, Mei messaged her security team to stay at the entrance and not come inside. She didn't think that she would be in any danger, so she ordered them to remain at the entrance. The security team agreed reluctantly.

When they reached the restaurant, there was no one else present. However, she knew that it was arranged by Mo Hai so she didn't mind. They ordered food and continued to chat as usual.

After some time, food and drinks were served. Everything was going smoothly when suddenly Mei started feeling dizzy. She started losing strength and felt weak all over her body. Being a doctor, she immediately understood that she had been drugged. She started drinking large amounts of water. When she looked toward Mo Hai, she saw a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Suddenly, she was hit by a flash of realization. It was all a setup. Her mind started replaying everything since she met Mo Hai. All the coincidences, the chance encounters, and the homemade gifts - all of it connected before her and she understood that it was a long and meticulous game planned by Mo Hai.

Because of her hectic schedule, she had been very tired and therefore let her guard down and made a stupid mistake.

Although she realized it too late, she kept her composure.

Mo Hai looked at her and said in a mocking tone, "Hehehehe…. It seems you have realized your situation. But you are still very calm. Impressive!!"

"Let's see if you remain the same when you are under me and I play with you to my heart's content."

His eyes were filled with lust as he glared at Mei's breasts.

Mei knew that as the time passed the effect of the drug would worsen so she had to take action now.

As she was about to send a message to her team, Mo Hai rushed toward her. He tried to hold her down but she kicked him in the gut. This caused him to kneel on the ground. He was surprised to see that she had training in combat. Mei gave him another kick on the head but her leg was caught by him. She lost her balance and fell down.

This time he was not lax and he slapped her on the face. She tried to block the slap but she was still hurt. Subsequently, Mo Hai tried to limit her movement by restricting both her hands. However, before he could do so, Mei picked up a fork lying on the ground and stabbed his shoulder.

His cries reverberated across the hall. Mei finally freed herself and immediately took out her phone. She then quickly sent a message. In the meantime, Mo Hai had recovered and again charged at her. This time she was ready. She dodged him and punched his wound in the shoulder. When she landed the punch, she heard his scream as he fell down again.

Now Mei was waiting for her security team. She looked alright but she was extremely weak right now and barely able to stand. She knew that the more she moved, the faster will be the rate at which the drug spread in her body.

Mo Hai was now in a state of frenzy. He got up and was about to attack Mei again when the doors of the restaurant were smashed open. There were 2 people with guns. They were stunned at the scene before them. Mo Hai was covered in blood and looked like a raging mad dog. Their madam was sweating and in a weak condition. One of them restrained Mo Hai while the other took madam. She told them to immediately send her to a hospital.

Yang Mei was immediately transported to a hospital and Mo Hai was taken captive and transported to the workshop. Mei's security team had already informed Zhou Jin about the incident.

Zhou Jin was sweating when he heard the news. He was thankful that nothing happened to Yang Mei. Otherwise, a lot of people would have to die the following day.

Mei was admitted to the hospital. All the chemicals were drained out of her system. After a night's rest, she was back to normal. She was discharged the next day.

She immediately headed to the workshop and met Zhou Jin. Jin asked what she was going to do regarding Mo Hai. She asked Zhou Jin about the complete information on Mo Hai.

After going through his information, she was stunned that she had become so close with such scum. She told Jin to release Mo Hai after sending a warning to the Mo family. They must also ensure that Mo Hai doesn't appear before her ever again.

Jin was surprised that Mei left him so easily. But since even Yang Li didn't interfere with his sister's decisions, he quietly followed her instructions.

Mei didn't press the matter further because of three reasons.

Firstly, her brother was not in the country. Secondly, all of their businesses were still growing. She was already being suppressed by the Yangs; she didn't want to add another strong family as their enemy- especially one which was involved in underground businesses. And finally, even though Mo Hai was a true scum, he had unknowingly provided her with support and comfort when she needed it the most.

Although her heart was broken and she was angry and frustrated, she still suppressed her emotions and took a rational decision considering the larger picture.

The Mo family received a warning from the government regarding this incident. Patriarch Mo had called both Mo Ting and Mo Hai and reprimanded them. Mo Hai was punished and was warned not to approach Mei ever again. Mo Hai was furious. He had never suffered so much at the hands of any person, especially a girl. He hated her and wanted revenge.

When he told his brother, his brother told him to lay low for a while. After everything had cooled down, he would help him get his revenge.
