After that incident, Zhou Jin built a dungeon near the workshop. The dungeon would hold their prisoners in the future.

Six hours after the call was made by Li, he received a message.

It said- 'He is in the dungeon.'

Yang Li then called the doctor in charge of the mercenaries and told him to come to the dungeon. Li took out a suitcase and proceeded toward the dungeon. At the entrance of the dungeon, he met the doctor.

He said to the doctor, "You don't need to come in. I will call you whenever I need you. You just have to keep a man alive. So be ready with your equipment."

After instructing the doctor, he went into the dungeon.

In the last cell of the dungeon, a man was tied to a chair. The man was Mo Hai. Li entered the cell and sat before him. He then continued to stare at him for 10 minutes without saying anything.

Mo Hai was already pissed off because of his kidnapping and when he saw a person just staring at him without saying anything he was filled with rage.

He screamed at Li and said, "DO YOU KNOW WH..."

Before he could speak any further, Yang Li gave him a tight slap. The slap was so hard that his head started buzzing.

Then he heard Yang Li say, "Sister, must have been really exhausted. Otherwise, how could she fail to notice trash like you? You look like a repulsive a**hole through and through."

On hearing his captor's words, Mo Hai understood that it was related to the guy's sister. He started wondering if it was one of the girls he played with.

He asked, "Who is your sister? Did something happen to her?"

Yang Li looked at him and said, "Of course not. Do you think there would still be a Mo Family in Cinea if something happened to her?"

Mo Hai scoffed at Li and said, "Such big words. Do you even understand the power of an elite family like the Mo family? You should let me go. If you release me now, I will let bygones be bygones, otherwise, you will face the wrath of the entire Mo Family."

Yang Li looked at Mo Hai without any expression, "Forget about me and the Mo Family, you should worry about yourself now. You are not going to leave this place alive. So, if you believe in God, you should start praying."

When Mo Hai heard his words, he felt fear. It was an emotion that he had forgotten. As Yang Li continued to stare at him, he felt terrified from the depths of his soul.

Yang Li sat on a chair before Mo Hai and placed the box he was carrying on a table adjacent to the chair. He opened the aluminum box. It was filled with different kinds of tools.

Looking at the box Mo Hai felt goosebumps all over his body.

He said, "Wait!! we can make a deal, I wi…"

Yang Li gave him another slap before he could finish his sentence.

Yang Li placed a finger on his lips, "Shhhhhh.... don't make unnecessary noises."

"So, let's start. Now it has been around a year and a half since I last used these, so I might be a bit rusty. If I do something wrong, don't blame me."

Mo Hai was stunned when he heard his words. However, before he could process his words, he felt a searing pain in his thighs which caused him to scream out in pain. Yang Li had used a knife to remove a piece of his skin from his inner thigh.

And so, the torture began. It continued for an hour before Yang Li came out.

When he came out, he was covered in blood. He told the doctor to go in and treat Mo Hai. He had to ensure that Mo Hai didn't die.

This series of events continued for 3 days. On the 4th day when Yang Li entered the cell, Mo Hai didn't even respond. He was alive but he had suffered so much pain in the last 3 days that he couldn't feel anything anymore. His fingers had been chopped off on the first day. His genitals were removed on the second day. His hands were removed on the third day.

By the end of the fourth day, he was dead. He had been skinned alive. His body didn't look like a body but a lump of flesh. His remains were disposed of.

The entire process had been recorded by Yang Li. He sent this video to Mo Ting with a message, 'Transfer 200 million dollars within 24 hrs. to the given account or you will be next. This is compensation money for the mental harm caused by your brother.'

There was already a shit-storm in the Mo family. Mo Ting's brother Mo Hai had been missing for 4 days and they had no clue about his whereabouts. After 2 days when they could not find him, they filed a police complaint. However, even the police couldn't find Mo Hai.

When the police complaint was filed the news was leaked and it spread in the entire capital. Even the younger generation of the elite and tier 1 families were interested in this news. The disappearance of a member of the elite family was a rare occurrence.

On the 5th day Mo Ting received the package. He was alone when he opened the package. It was a usb-drive with a video on it. He watched the video.

After watching the video, he felt nauseous and vomited. He was so scared that his entire body was trembling. After regaining his composure, he immediately reported the entire matter to the patriarch. The Mo family decided to approach their sources in the government. However, they were disappointed. They got a message from their sources to quietly fulfill the demand and end this matter. Trying anything else would be detrimental to the Mo Family.

Mo family was out of options. An hour before the deadline the money was transferred to the given account. Yang Li directed this money to Mei's account.

Mei was in her office in the hospital when she suddenly received a message. She saw a transfer of 200 million dollars into her account. The sender was her little brother.

She messaged him, 'Why did you send me so much money?'

He replied, 'It's not from me, but it's your compensation.'

She asked, 'What compensation?'

He replied, 'Courtesy- the ex-boyfriend of the MO Family.'

When she read the message, she was stunned. A series of events that happened a few months back flashed in her mind.

She immediately asked, 'Who told you?'

He replied, 'Does it matter? The main issue is why didn't you tell me.'

She said, 'It was a minor issue and I resolved it.'

He replied, 'No you didn't. You ignored it. Don't worry I have taken care of it.'

When she read the message, she had an ominous feeling in her gut.

She asked, 'What else did you do?'

But she didn't receive a reply from Yang Li. She had her lunch in the office and then went for her rounds.

When she finished her rounds and reached the nurse's station, she heard the nurses chatting excitedly about something.

One of the nurses turned toward her and asked, "Dr. Yang who do you think kidnapped Mo Hai?"

Mei was stunned when she heard them. She said, "W- What did you say?"

The nurse was surprised and said to her, "Dr. Yang!! Where have you been for the past 5 days? Let me tell you 5 days ago Mo Hai disappeared from the Mo Family. Nobody including the police has been able to find out his whereabouts."

"This news is a trending issue in the capital right now!"

Mei was stunned and then she remembered her brother's words- 'No you didn't. You ignored it. Don't worry I have taken care of it.'

Strangely on hearing the news she felt relieved and comforted. She didn't call her brother to ask him for the details. If he wanted to tell her, he would.

Although she didn't know what exactly Yang Li did, she was happy and satisfied. Previously, she had suppressed her emotions and somewhat compromised. However, her brother avenged her, which made her happy.

6 months later –

The news regarding Mo Hai was still circulating in the capital, however, there was no conclusion about his whereabouts.

A major event had taken place on the darknet. It was a global competition for hackers. Almost every renowned individual or group would participate in it. It was the third edition of this competition. It was organized by the Hacker Alliance.

Hacker Alliance was a mysterious group that held this competition every 10 years and ranked the top ten hacker groups or individuals. The ranking would be released after a week of the competition. According to some people, the Hacker Alliance was a group of elite hackers that controlled a majority of the dark web. Some people said that the top leaders of various conglomerates and institutions were also part of this alliance. There were many rumors related to this organization. Nobody knew the truth about it. Membership in this group was 'invite only'.

Yang Li had also come into contact with the Hacker Alliance four years back. His online handle was GodsDomain. They had tried to hack into his workshop's network but failed miserably. Instead, he counterattacked them and took down several of their servers. Since then, the alliance had never interfered with his business.

A week later, the rankings were released.
