5 months later-

Two months back Zhou Jin hired a person named Qin Wentian. He was a year younger than Yang Li. He was primarily hired for the maintenance of 'Ghost Eye.' He would also be in charge of network security when Yang Li was not present.

Publicly he had been working as a programmer in an E-commerce company owned by the Wang family. However, his real identity was that of a notorious hacker. In the recent global rankings, he was ranked third. His handle was 'Archangel'.

He belonged to Qin family- a commoner family. His father was a drunk and couldn't hold on to any job. His mother was a school teacher. He also had a sister called Qin Ran, who was a year younger than him.

A month before he started working for Li, Wentian got into trouble and was rescued by Yang Li. Li then offered him a work contract of 5 years. As the conditions were generous, he accepted to work for him.

Although, Qin Wentian was a skilled hacker he had poor social skills. He was schemed against by his former colleague. His colleague was a member of the Sun family and was involved in insider trading. When the higher-ups were about to catch him, the person used his machinations and made Wentian the fall guy. He framed Wentian by planting physical evidence in his workstation.

Wentian was taken away by the police. Insider trading was a very serious offense that could lead to a long jail term. The news regarding insider trading reached the Wang Family. They were furious and wanted to make an example out of the culprit.

Wentian was helpless and not able to do anything because firstly, Wentian was from a commoner family, and secondly, his opponent was the Wang Family. In this situation, Yang Li intervened and rescued him. Qin Wentian still had no idea how Yang Li pulled it off.

On the other hand, Yang Li had wanted to hire someone capable of the regular maintenance and up-gradation of 'Ghost Eye.'

He wanted someone who was loyal and had the required skills. Therefore, he kept an eye on suitable candidates. When Archangel got himself into trouble, it provided Yang Li with a golden opportunity. He swooped in and rescued him at the right time.

Time passed quickly. For the next year, Li finalized all his plans with regard to the Yang family. There was not much commotion during this period. Both YLM Enterprise and YLM Security were doing well.

During this year, Yang Mei completed the construction of the 3rd hospital in Westphalia. It would become operational the following year. The hospital was built on the site Yang Li had bought for her. With this 3rd hospital, MLH had opened its first foreign hospital and had taken a step outside Colchis.

As for Zenith Biotech, it had ventured into the development of organic chemicals for industries. The mass production of these organic chemicals was being handled by Zenith C&D.

Yu Rumeng's latest research involved gene editing and its application in the treatment of diseases like Cancer, Alzheimer's, etc.

As far as other events were concerned there were no major changes in the business world. The Tang family had acquired a few news networks. The Song family, Wang family, and the Yang family businesses were all doing well. A few tier-1 families had shown impressive growth in their businesses.

The most prominent among them were the Bing family and the Gu family. The Bing family had formed a collaboration with a Westphalian Technology giant. On the other hand, the Gu Family had expanded its market to Uruk and Westphalia.

The Mo family, on the hand, had declined. It happened after the disappearance of Mo Hai. It allowed the Xi family to swoop in and take away many businesses from the Mo family.

When Yang Li had finished talking there was a strange calmness in the room.

He looked at Bing Xue and saw that she was lost in her thoughts.

He said, "It's very late now. Go to bed."

When she heard his voice, she glanced at him. She said, "Goodnight." And then she walked towards her room.

Yang Li knew that she had to absorb and process a lot of things. He also went to his room to rest.

The next day Yang Li and Bing Xue had breakfast together.

Bing Xue was quieter today. Yang Li didn't interrupt her and after their breakfast, he dropped her at MLH. As he was about to leave the hospital, he got a message from Xue.

It read- 'Pick me up after work. I want to tell you something.'

After reading the message Yang Li felt a little nervous. However, he replied- 'Ok.' He then went to the HQ.

7 p.m. outside MLH-

Yang Li had parked his jeep across the street from MLH. Xue's shift had ended and he was waiting for her. After five minutes he saw Xue coming out of MLH. She walked towards him.

She signaled him to get into the jeep. Yang Li sat down in the driver's seat, while she took the front passenger seat.

She then looked at him and said, "Let's talk then."

Yang Li stiffened a bit but he nodded.

"I feel you have been nervous since this morning. Are you that unsure of my decision?" asked Xue.

Yang Li paused for a moment and said, "Frankly I don't know. You have been awfully quiet since morning. So, I am a little nervous."

Suddenly, Xue leaned closer to Li, put her hands around his neck, and pulled his face closer to her. She then said, "This is my answer."

She kissed him on the lips. Yang Li was stunned by her actions. He couldn't believe that Xue would respond in this manner. He felt her soft lips on his. Heat began to surge within him.

Just as Xue was about to move back to her seat, Yang Li took the initiative and pulled her back for another kiss. It was more passionate and fierier. Xue became dazed by his aggressive behavior. As they were lost in their passions, Li's hands began to roam around her body. When he squeezed her ass, Xue yelped. This gave Li the opportunity to deepen the kiss. His tongue danced around in her mouth and he started sucking her tongue. It was as if there was a dance-off between their tongues.

After a couple of minutes, Xue began to gasp for air. It was at this moment that Yang Li broke off the kiss.

Xue looked like a ripe tomato as she was blushing after their passionate kiss. She could feel his gaze on her but she pouted and avoided his gaze. Yang Li grinned at her cute actions. He started the car and they headed to the penthouse apartment.

Mei's Office MLH-

There were two people sitting with Mei in her office at MLH. One was Yang Mei, the other was Zhou Jin. They were discussing the upcoming engagement party in two days.

Mei said, "So, the engagement party is the day after tomorrow." She then looked at Li and said, "What is your plan?"

"Frankly, I don't know. Let's take a poll. If the majority says yes, we go." Said Li.

"So, there are three pe--- "

Before Mei could complete Li cut in and said, "There are 4 people. You forgot Xue."

Mei slapped her face in exasperation and said, "OK… OK, we will include Xue as well. So, let's vote."

The result was two yes, one no and one undecided. Therefore, it was decided that they will attend the ceremony.

Zhou Jin left the office after the voting. When the siblings were alone Mei teased Li, "Tehehehehe…. I heard you finally lost your virginity."

Yang Li looked at her incredulously. Mei quickly corrected herself and asked in a teasing tone, "I mean your first kiss. So how was it??"

Li said, "Elder sister you should focus on finding me a brother-in-law, rather than my first kiss."

His reply immediately shut her up. She ignored him and started doing her work. After seeing her actions, Li started grinning as he left her office.
